The location was the best thing about this hotel—very convenient and close to everything. The customer service was also very good, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and easy.
However, the cleanliness needs improvement. There was some mold in the bathroom, and there was no bathroom fan, so after using the bathroom, the smell quickly spread throughout the room. We also experienced significant noise from the neighboring rooms, and the sound insulation was quite poor.
Overall, the location and service were great, but the cleanliness, bathroom ventilation, and noise insulation need improvement.
The courtyard atrium was such an unexpected surprise. The very quaint old school wooden elevator should be an attraction by itself. The location is very good - easy walking distance all around and its nice to be near the river.

Great location. Pretty easy in and out. Room had a dank smell. The bed was super lumpy and used a top sheet instead of a fitted one. The power went out a couple times at night. The shower drain would back up, and the water was cold in the evenings for a shower. Not filthy but didn’t feel clean. It was ok.
The Arenula Suites is a quaint property. The courtyard is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, the bed was super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
Very convenient location by the square and walkable to most venues. Tons of shopping, dining and things to do. Very clean and once we found it the assistant was very helpful. Highly recommend.
I was a bit worried when people mentioned some negative things with this property, but truthfully had a great experience here. Yes walls are a bit thin, but I didn’t really notice at all. Easy to walk to all places. Lots a dining and shopping within a 5 minute walk. All major attractions within a 20 minute walk. Overall great stay. Would definitely return here.
We had a wonderful experience staying here. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room and it was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very clear with instructions in terms of finding the property, checking in and out, and a system to ensure our room was cleaned daily. The property is very centrally located without being located in the middle of crowds. The Pantheon, Travis Fountain, and Roman Forum are walkable and Trastevere is an easy walk just across the river. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Rome.
Good location, bed was very uncomfortable and had a massive dip in it. Also was slightly loud at nights.

The area is great, walkable, safe, close distance to sights and restaurants. The room was clean, internet was fast, I was able to do some work. The only issue I had was the construction going on in the courtyard, annoying. Hard to get to the room and out with luggage. Loved the elevator, and it works great!!!

The person at the front desk is very helpful and accommodating. The location of the Hotel is convenient .However their bathroom sink drains very slow and I asked them to fix it but they never fix it.
The hotel is in a great location. Check in is not great. They get mad if you don’t follow the directions but the directions are not good. They needed to tell us a bit more info and it may have been easier. The young girl was more irritated by us because we had no idea what she ment. For anyone else there’s a huge wooden door that has a code then when you go through there are four options of where to go now having been here is makes sense. Once you know which scala you are in then you have to use the elevator to get to which ever floor, then once on your floor you guess at which door is the entrance to the floor as ther are not marked. There is a code for the door then you enter and find your room. Ya it would be fine if they explained it better. Not just that there are two doors and two codes.no resection except in one of the scalas so it’s inconvenient you lug suitcases and end up in the wrong wing. It’s fine other wise. Good location to wal around.
Me and my wife needed a short stay in Rome coming back from Almafi to catch a flight home. We really enjoyed the building - it is really cool to use the original elevator and take in the architecture. When we walked in we noticed ear plugs next to the bed that should of been our first clue. The walls and floors are extremely thin, so thin you can hear full blown conversations.
