Worst service
The room was not clean at all, they left us for long time until they came and the room was not clean. They asked us to take a tour in the city for one hour and come back. We came after 2 hours and the room was the same !! Not clean.

Staff greeted us and we're very friendly. Key for the front door was an absolute pain to use, it took us 10 minutes most times to play around with the lock in order to get in, whether it was due to a badly cut key or if there was a certain knack to it we're not sure but they didn't show us a knack of there was one! The boiler drove us mad, constantly ticking and banging day and night. Neighbours were VERY loud, one night they were quite clearly having a blazing row, a lot of screaming and shouting and throwing things around, it was quite terrifying. Bed was comfy, we had hot water and a roof over our heads for the night. It gave us the absolute basics of what we needed which matches what we paid for but the few things need sorting to make it a comfortable stay. Not the place for luxury, which weren't expecting anyway!

Was so happy with this accommodation. Lots of space and very clean. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. Very close to metro (3 minute walk) which gets you around very easily. Nice bonus to have a kitchen area and supermarket just down the block. Would recommend 100%

Great place to stay. Walking distance to metro, colliseum, and delicious restaurants. The suggestion our host made to go to Vecchia Roma restaurant was a highlight.

Convenient accommodation close to Termini
Basic accommodation in a convenient location, just a walk from Termini station. The rooms are a converted apartment; it's no-frills accommodation, but comfortable enough and the room we were given was extremely large, which was great. It had a little corridor that kept it separate from the main hallway, which added to the privacy. We'll definitely stay here again when in Rome. As there is no reception, you need to notify Fabrizio ahead of your time of arrival so he can let you in and give you the keys, but this was no problem and he kept in communication with us to make sure we were comfortable during our stay.

Great location near metro and station. The room has no ac, hot water not always available, power failure for three day during the night but was solved immediately after complaining. The room was every day done and cleaned to our satisfaction.

It was unbelievable- hard to find firstly & then when found wished we hadn't. Dingy, toilet down the hall which was full of whatever. Key really difficult to get into the toilet door particularly in the small hours of the morning when you just want to go to the toilet....creepy

The owner was kind. He explained all the details to us. I must tell you that you can what's app him anything before your arrival. I only know it after I saw him... It caused me some trouble because he didn't reply my email before. The location was ok for us. There are two Bars for breakfast. There is one bread and one coffee for every meal. Both Bars are very busy at morning. We have stayed in Rome for 4nights. There was cleaning service everyday. the room can be better. Because when we arrive, the owner told us the TV in room was broken by the perious guest. So we didn't have TV in room. The City Tax for every person every room night in Expedia was not correct as the owner told us. We paid 3.50EUR per person per night instead of 3.00EUR said on the confirmation letter by Expedia. As the confirmation letter claimed that I should have a private bathroom. But it turned out the bathroom was outside my bedroom. Every time when I went to bathroom, I need to lock my bed room and use the key open my bathroom. After I entered the bathroom, I need to use the key to lock the bathroom door. It was a bit trouble for us. but this is not the main issue. The bathroom was very small. Even one person take shower, my husband always hit himself on the door. It's hard to use the toilet. Course the space is really tight. The ceiling was full of mold. But as long as it cannot touch me. I can bear it. The shower drainage was clogged. I told the owner and fixed. But still not working good.

When in Rome... Stay at Aloha
We were greeted warmly by the proprietor. The room was clean and comfortable. A daily breakfast of a croissant and coffee was provided. Great experience. Highly recommend. Great deal in Rome.

Communication was a little lacking;was told they were in the building ONLY from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and when we arrived at 12:34 we had to wait 20 minutes to be let in, yet our room wasn't ready and had to be cleaned still. Why was I told that I had to be there by 12:30 to check in yet the room wasn't ready? Room was incredibly small but clean so we were comfortable staying there. There is no reception so keep this in mind.

I was staying in this B&B with my sister and can recommend it to everyone.Room was clean and comfortable,it has everything you need for short time visiting Rome and it's not far away from very center of the city.

A not bad place to stay on
Fabrizio and Dario did their best to ensure we would have a good stay. The place was somewhat small, but we could sleep well and have not bad shower. If what you are looking for is being close to the main Roman attractions and about 200 meters from the subway, not paying too much and not expecting to find a hotel-like B&B, this may be the place. But if you can afford spending a bit more and would enjoy more comfort, than Aloha might not be for you. Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast is not served in locus, but in three nearby caffés (you receive a ticket that entitle you for taking one coffee/capuccino/juice and one croissant). For what I could pay, I don't regret. Next time in Rome, if I have more money, I'll probably try somewhere else.

Needs air-conditioning during the summer!!
My review is based on our stay in an ' economy double- private bathroom' room at Aloha Rome. After reading all the fabulous reviews we booked a 4 night stay at this B&B. The location is close to Termini train station and within walking distance to the Colosseum and other attractions. Whilst the location was great unfortunately our room was not. The room was extremely small with a double bed, with little room to move. There is a ceiling but it was so rickety and slow that it provided little to no airflow in the room. The room was an absolute sweat box (even with windows open at night) and we barely got any sleep over the 4 nights that we stayed (we contemplated moving hotels but we're on a tight budget for our 5 month travels). I did see 2 of the other rooms in the B&B and was shocked at how big they are;2 to 3 times larger than the room we stayed in. I don't believe the economy double room is value for money. We stayed at another hotel in Rome the week after which was only 10- 15 euros a night more than our room at Aloha Rome and it was like staying in a palace compared to the room we stayed in at Aloha. As mentioned my review is based on our stay in the 'economy double' room, so if you plan on booking at this B&B I would suggest booking one of the bigger rooms.

Very convenient location. There is no AC in the room, but there is a ceiling fan which is enough to make it comfortable even in June. Be aware that included breakfast is actually a voucher to one of the three small cafes. It includes 1 cup of coffee and 1 croissant.

Me and my girlfriend just came back from Rome and we enjoyed our stay with aloha. The beds were brilliant and rooms were spacious with kettle,flatscreen TV, safe, huge wardrobe. The walls are reasonable soundproof. The bathroom we had was a tight squeeze to the toilet but shower was good enough we needed it for. The team at aloha were very good, cared for you straight away. Breakfast was good just typical Italian food. We had a small budget to go by. We got more than we thought we would get for a money. I'm hoping to return to Rome in the near future. Would recommend this B and B.

Dario we had a great stay
Dario even thou he was not present but made his pressence felt everywhere. The hotel had everything that you require. Very pretty room and quite spacious. Loved our stay. Just it was hard to find out little far from the termini station but still worth the money. thanks dude.

Rome is big but has good public transportation system! Watch out for taxis as they prey on non Italian speaking tourists charging exorbitant prices. Stick with NCC brand taxis as they are the city's taxis and don't do shady things!

I would not use Aloha hotel again or recommend it.
The Aloha hotel is advertised in Expedia as a hotel however it is not a hotel, it is a room which is within an apartment where there are other adjacent rooms with a common kitchen. An actual key needed to be used to enter the building and then another two keys to enter the apartment and then the room. The room was also advertised with its own on-suite bathroom, however the bathroom although it was private was not on-suite and to get to it we had to go across the apartment hall and other people in our pijamas and also needed a key for the door. On the last night at hotel we could not get into the building as someone broke their key inside the lock and no one could get in. This was later fixed by simply leaving the building door ajar. In the morning when we were leaving with our suitcases for the airport we could not open the apartment door because someone had locked it from inside and our key could not open it, until someone else, the person who had actually locked it heard the commotion and came and open the door. When we first arrived at the building by taxi, we called on the internet only for someone to come and meet us at the door to say they had changed us to another building used by the same hotel and we had to walk some 5 or 6 block with our suitcases to get to the other building. They also advertise a continental breakfast and all you get is a serve yourself cafe facility and a few stale plastic wrapped cakes that have been in the cupboard a few months.

Comfortable and reasonably priced
The thing that surprised me is that this is a B&B, not a hotel, and as such they do not have a reception desk. You must arrange your arrival with them ahead of time so that someone will be there to meet you and give you your keys. If you arrive without such an arrangement and do not have a phone, you will have no way of getting in. Also note, there is no signage, so you must find it by the address. Breakfast is included, but it is a cold breakfast, there is nowhere to sit, and it is not served until 9am (I found I was happier to head out earlier in the morning and find breakfast elsewhere).

Hello We are happy that our B & B has a good quality / price ratio and your overall judgment is good. Breakfast can be done at any time at the bar or served at 9 am to 11 am, with products such as milk, juice coffee or tea and biscuits and snacks as in Italian culture. Our telephone numbers , as well as addere on the confirmation of the reservation, are exhibited in the entrance door to the B & B just to help all those who do not have the time announced in advance of their arrival. Where is the hotel? It must be an internet scam.
We prepaid Expedia online as required, but at the end of our stay, the lady told us she had charged our credit card 40 euros for local tax. Our contract says that what we had already paid was all inclusive. Aloha is not a hotel. It is a bed and breakfast in someone's small apartment. There is no sign on the street that there is a Aloha hotel. We walk past it five times and did not see it. We arrived late and thought it was an internet scam. We could not get in and had to wake up several neighbours who had no clue where Aloha was. Finally, after one and a half hours, we found it on the second floor at the back of the apartment building.

Hello thanks for your comment . Remembering that we are a B & B and not a hotel I would like to specify that the city tax in Rome , as also indicated in the reservation is not included in the total cost paid on expedia , is in fact a municipal tax and not a fee national . we are on the second floor of the B scale of a historic building in Rome which , like many other buildings in the center , before the stairs has an inner courtyard which we also published the photos . Thank you for letting us know about these difficulties in finding the structure . In the future we will be more clear and detailed with our customers ..

Booked this hotel as details said it had ensuit in fact the bathroom was down a hallway. We were moved the next day to a room with ensuit but then asked to move back again the next day. The apartment was noisy from neighbours and because it is located in the Asian area if room there was a constant smell of curry. No one cleaned the room whilst we were there and although there was tea and coffee ther was no milk. Doubt I would stay here again,

Hotel was hard to find, because there was no signage out front, so just pay attention to the address. It is walkable to the Roma Termini, so that was convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful with sight seeing tips. The only problem for us was that there was no air conditioning and going to Rome in August, the weather was really HOTT! Other than us being hot, the room was great for a group of 5-and a private bathroom always a plus when traveling to Europe.

This is not a traditional hotel with reception and maid. The helpful receptionist comes when called on the phone. She issues three keys: One key lets you into the building. One key lets you into the apartment. The apartment has three suites. One key lets you into your suite. The building has a private courtyard. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. Our suite had a bedroom - slept 5 comfortably, a large bathroom and a hallway. No A/C. I would stay there again. The gelato factory down the street claims to be the oldest in Italy. It may be the best and cheapest

Herzlicher Empfang und schneller Check in ins Zimmer. Leichte Verstandigungsprobleme, da nur (üblich? ) Englisch und Italienisch. Von der Lage her alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig gut erreichbar. Zimmer Ansicht ok, ein kleiner Schrank für Sachen zum Aufhängen zuwenig. Kochecke auf ok. Bett ok.....

Soggiorno mediocre effettuato con un mio collega per motivi di studio. La camera si presentava discretamente bene anche se la pulizia non era il top. Geograficamente ben collocato, a pochi passi dalla fermata Vittorio Emanuele della metropolitana romana e ad una sola fermata per arrivare alla stazione di Termini. Del resto, lo spazio all'interno della camera era alquanto modesto. Materasso da cambiare, troppo scomodo e usurato. Il bagno privato era di medio livello. I riscaldamenti non funzionanti nonostante il proprietario mi avesse detto il contrario. Arrivando alle conclusioni posso affermare che se siete di passaggio ed il prezzo è abbastanza conveniente è una piccola alternativa da valutare, specie se non avete mezzo proprio a disposizione e dovete avvalervi dell'utilizzo dei mezzi pubblici della Capitale. Consiglio ai proprietari di includere una piccola colazione (es. succo di frutta e brioche da discount) per rendere contenti gli ospiti che l'indomani dovranno partire al più presto.

La situation géographique est très bien, pas loin de chaque quartier à visiter. L’établissement est propre, la chambre que nous occupions était spacieuse et dotée d’une kitchenette. Très pratique d’acces Et au milieu d’une cour intérieure sans bruit. Facilite de communication avec les propriétaires.

La habitación es normal. La mampara de la ducha no cerraba. Pasaron un día a “limpiarnos” la habitación y dejaron la cama a media y las tazas sin limpiar. El último día cuando llegamos nos habían quitado una cama de la habitación. El Barrio de lo peor.
