Very nice, the only thing I didn’t like was the A/C doesn’t work when temperature is in 15 degrees c. Too warm to sleep, has restaurants and stores around.

Clean property, not a great location tucked away in a corner

The property is very dated. No modern amenities, AC was not working, tiny tiny bathroom and shower, very noisy streets, shower clogged, no deadbolts on doors, no peephole, tiny elevator.

Property was beautiful. Breakfast was advertised online on hotel website, as well as in room for all guests as included. If you book with Expedia, however, you need to select the breakfast option or this is not included (we found out the hard way). Every single day we had a housekeeping issue ranging from the housekeeper walking in without knocking all the way to them cleaning the room and leaving the washroom untouched with all dirty linen still on the floor. While this was rectified when they sent someone up to clean, it should not have had to happen every day. No compensation was offered, nor was any service offered by the hotel as an apology for the horrendous housekeeping experiences. I would not return or recommend for anyone looking for a hotel offering services comparable to those found in North America.

I like this property because of its convenient location.
We came to Rome with a group of 10. The other 4 couples stayed the Best Western Plus less than a minute walk from Augusta Lucilla Palace. We compared facilities, pricing, food and general appearance with both hotels and we are very disappointed. We paid about 10-20 Euro more each night than our friends, they have larger brighter rooms, whereas our room appeared old and not colourful, balcony is tiny, while the mattress was comfy enough, the room appearance as a whole is boring, the toilet seat moved so otherwise there should be renovation but the room rate cost more than the Best Western who is more modern and presentable. Last but not least, the breakfast cost 10 euro or so whereas Best Western was 7 euro. We joined our friends for breakfast the next day and were surprised and satisfied of quantity and quality of other hotel which had every general American breakfast and cheaper, they even had pancake. Next year we are coming to a cruise sailing out of Rome and for sure we will go for a different hotel.
