« Our family had a great experience staying at this place. We were close to the beach and had access to a pool. The kitchen was stocked very well. The screened in porch on first floor had everything you need for the beach and the pool (chairs/towels/toys/beach cart/floats). Size was perfect for 2 couples and a child. « We stayed four nights with our family of five (kids ages 3, 6, and 8) and another family with a 10 and 13 year old and had a wonderful time!The basement area with the theater room and ping pong table were perfect for kids playing together and entertaining themselves. We paddled out to the Lake Beach twice - it wasn’t too far and an easy place to swim, even for our younger ones. We also enjoyed Shark Tooth Beach! Just be sure to park in guest parking (our bad!). « This property was more than enough room for our family of 8. My daughters really liked having the 3rd floor to themselves complete with their own bathroom. The renovations that were done on this house were very tasteful. All of the furnishings were well thought out and work very well throughout the home. We will definitely rent again if we are in the area! »

« This was our second time staying at the crab shack in Colonial Beach, and this is was the second time we have had a perfect stay. The house has such a family friendly layout and is super comfortable. It is close to the beach and main town area, a playground, the grocery store. The host Dan is responsive when needed (although we didn’t really need, because everything was great!). Highly recommend. We are already planning next year! »
