The hotel was nice but found the parking difficult. There was no parking for cars in front of the hotel so we parked our car in the underground parking. There was no elevator to take our luggage up so had to roll and carry our suitcases up the driveway.
Dropped luggage off and then followed shuttle driver for gas, return of rental car and provided lift back to hotel. CDG has the worst designed road system I have ever been in, so this driver really helped.
Hotel is modern, clean and well appointed with the exception of having no porter to help with luggage.
"Perfect for overnights before and after flights
Take the free airport tram directly from arrivals at Charles de Gaulle to terminal three - the entrance is right there, to the right of the main entrance to terminal three. When you get off of a long transoceanic flight jet lagged and ready to hit the sack, nothing better. No fussing around trying to find your hotel or getting oriented. Also works for the night before a flight - no stress about getting there on time through Paris rush-hour traffic.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced. There is a well-stocked automatic food dispenser where you can get a ore-made sandwich or something to tide you over if you arrive outside of the restaurant's hours, which are pretty well what they are everywhere else in France (don't expect to get fed between 2 and 7 pm.)
A free shuttle that runs every few minutes will take you to the nearby shopping center, Aeroville, where you will find a variety of restaurants and stores.
The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable. There is a mini-bar with a bit of space in the fridge for your own food, a kettle with supplies of tea and powdered coffee, hair dryer, nice et suite bath stocked with soaps, shampoo and lotions. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are clean. The wifi works perfectly.
For an airport hotel, there is also a surprising absence of the sound of planes taking off and landing. Either French planes are much quieter or the place is very well insulated.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location is very convenient to CDG Terminal 2E as well as the train. The room was clean, fairly roomy, and quiet. We had a snack and drink at the hotel bar - both were fine. Helpful concierge. Front desk could have been a bit friendlier and the bar could use some refurbishing, but other than those items, a great stay prior to an early morning flight back to the U.S.
Old town area just around corner. Lovely.
20 minutes to airport on Black Line shuttle to Terminal 2 or 3. Dead easy.
Could be better service at bar downstairs. ...but food was good and not overpriced like some airport hotels.
Northeast of Paris, Roissy-en-France is home to a quarter of the land at Charles de Gaulle International Airport. Suburban trains and buses service Paris. Otherwise, Roissy is mostly a Paris bedroom community.
