We loved our stay at the Candlelight Inn. Checking in was easy and we really enjoyed the location. The amenities in the bathrooms were lovely and really added to the experience :) We made use of the fantastic breakfast and sat out by the fire pit even though there was a fire ban. The property is quiet but cozy. Our only issue was our room was on the second floor, and with no air conditioning it was extremely warm to sleep. We had a small ceiling fan but it was so loud neither myself or my friend were able to sleep. We turned the bathroom fan on to try to drown out the ceiling fan which helped a bit. Another thing that should be noted is the property is directly in front of a cemetery (between the house and the ocean) which may be problematic for some folks and should probably be more clear in the description/photos. Great place to take a break and spend a day walking the shoreline, quite the rock collection on the beach ;) if you like collecting rocks, kept me busy all afternoon. Wonderful little homestyle Diner down the main street, a few minutes walk. The location near town center and beside the sea is excellent. We especially liked the breakfast area which was bright, spacious and allowed easy contact with fellow guests. April and Michael also make delicious breakfasts to order. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was really comfortable too.
