Trying their best with new ownership

Check-in was terrific; we arrived early due to family medical emergency and manager arranged early check-in with no issue. Friendly, respectful staff.Property is under renovation, room was clean - no bugs, but had mold/mildew in bathroom, microwave was broken, various repairs needed. This property has only been owned for 2 weeks by current management. Give them grace! They’ll have issues under control soon.

The bed was not the best. The mattress sat on a metal frame that squeaked with the slightest move. Otherwise, the room was okay. We didn't utilize breakfast, but we did get a few cups of coffee during our stay. However, our biggest compliment goes to the staff, who were very friendly and helpful.

My stay in north carolina

The stay was comfortable the only thing that i didnt like was the shower was for disabled people. So i had to take a bath other than that the stay was great

The gal that checked is in was extremely professional and kind. We overall enjoyed our stay with the exception of the heating system-it was SO LOUD and hard to sleep.

Property was quiet. Staff at the front desk were friendly. The rooms was roomy but it was dirty. Floors looks like it hasn’t been swept and mop in a while. Beddings and towels had stains. There were molds on shower curtains. We also found some insects in the rooms.

The room had spider webbs, the lamps was rusted the bathroom had black mold looking stuff around the base of toliet..it just was not a clean place to stay... i checked out immediatly. The staff was nice and refunded my money and i appreciate that. But they shouldnt be more then $50 a night.

Wonderful staff, but unfortunately the property is in very poor condition. The bed was comfortable, but the room was very dated. Room had been broom swept, but the floor was extremely dirty and sticky feeling. Will not stay here again.

In Need Of Updates

Friendly courtious check in. But room was dusty and some items in very poor condition, like table lamp and phone. Toilet did not work and promised plumber didn't show up. I managed to get it working for a while, but finally gave up and we checked out after an hour. Hope we get our charges back.

Upon checking in for a one-night stay and booking a King smoking room, I discovered that the room had not been adequately cleaned upon my departure. The refrigerator contained remnants of french fries and ketchup. Additionally, there were items in the toilet and sink, and the bed was soiled. It appears that there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the cleanliness of the room. Despite this issue, I returned to the front desk, where I was accommodated in a different room that was more pleasant. The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations, and the pool is currently not functional. I ended up staying here for three more nights. On my third night, the staff approached me and inquired if we would be returning. They expressed their satisfaction with our stay and offered a discount on our payment, which was previously made through Expedia. This allowed me to save money for the extended stay. The positive aspects of the hotel include its quiet atmosphere, low traffic, and lack of noise. I feel safe and comfortable there. If I return to Rockingham the quality Inn hotel will be where I stay

Staff was amazing! However upon booking with Travelocity, when I arrived to the hotel to check in I was informed I’d have to pay $100 cash deposit to book. I was unaware of this when booking with Travelocity. There was no indication on the website. The room was okay. The door did not shut all the way. The curtains fell when I tried shutting them. There was toilet paper stuck in the peephole of the door. Personally we did not arrive untill 4 in the morning and housekeeping was already knocking on our door at 9am (twice) when our check out was at 11.

Disappointing-Mediocre at best

Best I can say is the beds were comfortable. Mediocre clean. Only two small towels provided no washcloths. I did not ask for more, but my daughter and her family who stayed a few doors down dead and they said there was no more available. She will leave her own review, which is worse than mine. Staff was cordial. Girl who checked us in pleasant. Continental breakfast was a joke. You could make your own waffle. No fruit no bread, bagels or eggs. A couple of some sort of muffins. Frosted cornflakes. Also juice and coffee. not anything like pictured. Pool closed for the past 3 years, no plans to reopen it. All in all glad we were only there one night since we were traveling. Definitely not recommended for anything longer.

Check in went great. The staff was very friendly. You can tell they are upgrading the rooms and they look great. However, there was no hot water. It was warmer than freezing, but not hot enough to be warm. I would suggest you remove the debris from the property to clean up the area. The breakfast is small but adequate. Overall the room was was adequate for what we needed.
