First impressions are important. My room was in the fifth floor. The elevator was not working. An employee had to reset it so I could go up to my room. The rest of the time I used the stairs, not wanting to be stuck. The doors were very loud when guests on my floor went in or out of their room. My room was nice, clean, fairly quiet because I was almost at the end of the hall. The bed was comfortable. I loved the eight of the blanket. I could not figure out the TV so I ended up watching what I wanted to in my phone. Also, the plug by the bed didn’t work. Fortunately, I brought an extension cord for my phone & watch charger. The shower worked perfectly.

Worst $225 spent on a hotel EVER (one night stay)
They allow pets, but there’s absolutely nowhere in the vicinity for a dog to potty in grass. They don’t even have a tiny patch of grass. No outdoor trash cans for disposing of dog poop either. The elevators didn’t work 80% of the time, forcing me to carry a 19 month old upstairs while pulling my luggage and dog up 4 flights of stairs. They don’t have vending machines, at all. The only place to get anything is on the Lobby floor.

We got here and they didn’t have our reservation that was booked through Expedia. They were very helpful in correcting this. They had a room available and corrected the billing. The people at the front desk were very pleasant and recommended places to eat within walking distance.

The number one important thing for me is the staff!! All the staff I interacted with were friendly and warm. Exactly what I needed after 14 hours of driving one Interstates that are all under construction. I will be staying here again!

Wet carpet
The air conditioning dripped all night. The carpet/floor was wet made my socks wet. I didn’t see the wet carpet. The attached room was noisy and I could here phone conversations. I was expecting better.

The two things that were not okay was the elevators even though they had a sigh that said watch your step the children that I was with kept stumbling on the lip. The next thing was the pool the water was salty and I mean SALTY!!! I will never stay there again but these are things that would help during other guest stays at this location

Cabinets in room were loose and falling off. Breakfast was lacking toward 9:45am. No eggs, no orange juice, no yogurt.. had to ask for whatever food they had left. Only one pack n play for the entire hotel..

It was nice but there was no hot water for 48 hours! During that 48 hrs the water was off for 11 hours without the ability to even flush the toilet. They later turned on the cold water to do so. I got a refund for 2 of the 3 nights. It was disgusting. Nobody could shower for 2 days. The elevators smelled like sweat. I called the city code enforcement/health inspector at the 48 hr mark. Absolutely rediculous though. The hotel kept allowing more/new people to check in. The staff kept saying for two days...oh the hot water will be back on today. All lies. But, imagine, we couldn't even flush feces and urine down the toilet for 11 hours almost!!! I had to use the ice bucket to drain the pipe to fill up, twice, to dump in the tank to help flush waste down! It was gross!! Worst experience ever in a hotel. Wish I'd had stayed at super 8 across town!! Also was woken up and kept awake by a yappy dog whos owner DID NOT take out as well as a small child screaming and barking. Up with kid til 12:38pm and awoken at 6:08 with the dog. It was a nightmare. Then i asked to be moved and specifically said NOT NEAR DOGS OR SMALL KIDS. I was moved to a room next to another woman with a dog. I know so bc we took the elevator up to the 8th floor together. I told her about what happened and she showed me her dog which didn't bark once, just like she said. But the point is...is I made a very clear request and mind you, during all this, is when we had no hot water. Just z horrible experience.

Wouldn’t stay again
No grass at a pet friendly hotel. Had to walk down and across the street to a small patch of grass. Should’ve looked closer at satellite view of hotel, disappointed nonetheless. Wouldn’t stay again with our dog. Elevator is really small and takes a long time. Had to park across the street.

Nice stay
Stayed new years. Bar across street but fd told me two blocks away. Hotel bar & restaurant closed. But room was nice comfortable clean.8th Floor! Very bright in all areas. Never dimmed at night for ambiance for christmas tree standout (pretty decorations tho). Crowded pool! Tripped a few times elevator step. Breakfast good. Nice big windows. Location

The thermostat in the room was not working. Registered 65 degrees and heat would not turn on. They quickly came up and replaced batteries. It was fine when the heat was on but then quickly cooled down even whey set at 74 degrees. Also soap in tub was empty. Lotion bottle was in the tub area and the wall unit by the sink was labeled “conditioner “. Breakfast was excellent.

Unfortunately, there were not many positives of staying at this property. I can say the continental breakfast and snack area were well stocked and fresh. Regarding the negatives of the stay... Upon checking in, there was an issue with the room we received. We could not determine if this was the hotel's fault or Expedia's fault. Either way, the receptionist was prepared to charge us the incorrect amount for a downgraded room until I came back downstairs and pointed it out. I was reluctantly offered a very small amount of money off the room. She was generally quite unhelpful. Once we settled into the room we noticed a host of issues. Cleaning was not up to par, fixtures were broken or worn, and the room temperature varied wildly. Overall, this looks like it was once a nice hotel. It is now worn down and needs a deep clean. Their rates should be adjusted to fit more of the bracket of a very nice motel. I was surprised this was even a Hampton.
