We learned we needed to build momentum to get up the driveway, but was able to navigate it successfully. The place and scenery was worth it though. Host communication was prompt. House was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances (even a blender), untensils, cookware, and dishes for all our needs. The bathrooms were well supplied with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The laundry was easy to use and detergent was supplied. The rec room area was perfect for our family and allowed us to be together without being on top of each other (there were 9 of us). All supplies were quality items. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally. We really had a great time being so close to what Hocking Hills has to offer. Not only was everyone able to have the privacy of a room and a bed, but the overall space in the house was comfortable and not cramped in the least. The kitchen was well stocked, allowing us to cook all of our meals for our group of 10 for the entire week. The beds were comfortable, and the hosts were quick to respond to our questions and needs. When they say they recommend an AWD vehicle for the driveway, they aren’t kidding. Our son almost got stuck trying to get up the steep incline in his Nissan SUV. Once you get the hang of it though, you should be fine. The location is perfect for shopping, hiking all the trails, and even exploring downtown Columbus and Athens.
