« We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with...

« Our Thanksgiving stay was wonderful. We had 9 adults and a 12 year old and we had more than enough space. The farm is amazing and there is a whole mountain right outside the front door! Wow! The creek was a lovely bonus. As remote.as we were the wifi was perfect and the home was equipped with everything we needed and more, even a few things for our dog. I didnt need.to communicate with the host during our stay but communication prior to our stay was.quick and positive. Thank you for allowing us...

« We rented the home for its proximity to Wintergreen for a quick skiing trip,and it was perfect. A cozy older home with a cabin like feel. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Owners were great, get back to you quickly if you have questions. Definitely rent again if we come back to the area. »

« The old farmhouse has a lot of character, clearly having been added onto multiple times. While quirky inside it is a very nice accommodation with a modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms. The property was clean, well stocked with towels and had very nice linens on the beds.
