Not and Econolodge!
Air conditioner had broken face cover causing excessive noise, room key cards quit every day, NO Refrigerator in room, Towels & hand cloths stained, when they were available! Bath rooms Very small/ tight. Condition of hotel was run down, maintenance performance lacking badly. Did not get wake-up calls ask for, shift change at mid-night result in lack of notification to next staff. Not worth the price!

Adequate for a budget
The staff was friendly. The room was adequate, but only 2 pillows. The shampoo was clearly re-used and half empty. The room set up was a bit off - TV stand not aligned with bed. No alarm clock. Stained carpet, but vacuumed. No bugs that I could see. The bed was reasonably comfortable but not high end. Sheets and towels were clean. The hotel was not packed at all and it was pretty quiet. The A/C unit had a musty smell when turned on, but cleared up after a while, likely due to very little use. Only a few rooms were booked, I suspect a lot of the facilities sit un-used for quite a while and likely why the A/C smelled musty. Overall - on a budget at about $20-30 less than other hotels, it's exactly what we needed for a one-night stay and literally needing just a place to sleep - a step up from camping...

Room was clean but could use some tender loving care. Caulk around sink could be replaced. Both sink and tub drain very slow. After waking the employee to come in for coffee at 6, the breakfast/lobby smelled a little like smoke.

noisy motel with transient workers drinking, partying all night and up early. Poor sleep, no coffee available, "attitude" from staff.

Unfortunate Hospitality
Had a comfortable room and slept well...except... The woman who checked me in had not dealt with a prepaid reservation such as this. She would have double charged me had her colleague not stepped in and cancelled the transaction. I slept well until I was woken up by the two housekeepers having multiple very loud conversations right outside my window. I know it was housekeeping because when I left at 10:40 (11 checkout time) I wasn't even at my car yet when one said "finally" and the other agreed and they were going into the room. I certainly didn't feel that my business was appreciated, or even desired.

Avoid this hotel at all costs!!
Poor service, dirty washroom and multiple mix ups on registration including wrong credit card details and keys to rooms that were already occupied!

Never again!!!
I really do not know where to start. The first room we were given...large bug squeeshed on wall, huge burn holes in bed comforter and in sheets, pillow cases stained, blanket looked to be from the 60's...not somewhere I would ever sleep. New room...bathroom light did not work, volume on tv did not work and no tv converter, large black stains on counter top and carpet, entrance door looked to be pried open at one time... We called the front desk 3 times over a period of 45 minutes and no answer. A man opened our door at about 10 pm and apologized...this was the room he was given by the front desk. We had a chair pushed up against the door...I guess their is a first time for everything.....AND A LAST! Very disappointed that hotels.com would support this place.

close to my childhood friends
I enjoyed it; the only problem was the continental breakfast. Wasn't much to choose from but the main problem, it ran out of coffee and I went early. But the 2nd morning was a lot better.

Good for the over-night traveler
OK....so it's not the Hilton but overall experience was satisfactory. Hotel is older and will be due some renovations in the near future but overall not bad for the price. Not much to eat at the "free" breakfast bar but you don't have to go away starved. Customer service was courteous and helpful and room was clean. Wasn't worried about catching any weird diseases. Would I stay again? Sure! Price was just right for a quick over-nighter and would definately recommend for those on a budget.

When we arrived which was late at night the hotel stated that my credit card had been declined but Hotels.com had stated the payment was complete. The Front Desk Associate took a really long time so I just called Hotels.com and it was straightened out in 5 minutes. The room was comfortable but not very clean. It was ok for just one night but I would not want to spend an extended period of time there. The Front Desk Associate was very nice.

Can your employees read?
very displeased. Clerk made a mistake checking us in and at 8 pm after driving 600 miles, we had to change rooms. We were not happy.

Very good motel for the price.
For a very inexpensive motel, we are very pleased. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and made us feel welcome. We would gladly use them again.

I would stay here again.
the room was small, but clean. It was 104 degrees that day, and the room faced the west. It cooled down in less than 10 minutes.

Sink sprayed water all over the counter
Room was clean but, sink needed maintenance. Water sprayed all over the counter while brush teeth & shaving. Had a two day stay but, door key card would not work after 1st day. Had to go to the office and have it re-keyed..

The only good thing- close to highway
This was our second stay at the Econolodge. For the last stay, we had a freshly painted room that was comfortable, yet basic. This time we were not pleased----the room was recently painted but poorly......places on the walls not painted. The rug was newer but did not appear to be clean. The chair was soiled. The bathtub did not look clean. The blanket was old lookikng and an ugly brown color....I was concerned that it was not clean. The breakfast was poor----the coffee weak, the choices minimal, and the cereal was stale. We definitely will not stay here again. The only good thing was the closeness to the highway and the lower price.....but not worth it.

Good value in Richburg
We were on our way to Florida and Richburg is a good place to stop. We realized that the two star rating would mean it would be a basic motel. However we were pleasantly surprised. The walls were freshly painted, the carpet looked fairly new and the bed was comfortable. Although this motor in is older, it is a good value and well maintained. The only negative was the towels in the bathroom- very thin and somewhat dingy.....but clean. The breakfast was basic....cereals, toast, English muffins, apples for fruit...juices and coffee. Again,this. Was a good value and we would stay at the econolodge again.

Good, safe, clean... And cheap
Although the lobby reeked of cigarettes, my nonsmoking room was fine. Included a fridge and microwave. No hairdryer or shampoo, but the room was clean and ac & tv worked ok. If you like to watch tv in bed or just like a pillow with a little firmness, bring your own.

Price is right, and the free wifi is great
Sure, you'll get a tube TV and some 1980s decor... what the heck. The price is right, and the room was clean. Plus, the wifi was great! Free, and a strong signal, even down at the end of the hotel farthest from the registration desk. Breafast had coffee, juice, bagels and cereal... I liked the bagels were individually wrapped so easy to grab-n-go for the morning. There aren't too many restaurants to choose from, but there's a Subway right across the street and a Waffle House almost next door - so easy to grab a bite of something. Easy drive to the Landsford Canal State Park which was hosting a race the next morning so I was happy!

Our only concern with our two rooms was both had a huge gap under the exterior door. There was easily a half to three quarter inch gap under the door that you could slide a book under without opening the door. Very strange, almost like there was a door sweep at one time but had been removed. Lot of cold air coming under the door in January. I went out in the parking lot and looked at 10 or so other doors and I could see right into the rooms, so it was consistent with each door. I mentioned it to hotel management just as an FYI; they offered to switch rooms but we said it was ok. Otherwise it was a nice, comfortable room for the price.

You get what you pay for.
This hotel was clean and close to the interstate. However, there were very, very limited choices for food. Stop before you arrive at this exit to eat your dinner. I have two complaints about the hotel room. The pillows needed replaced a few years ago. The room had a very strong deodorizer smell. The staff was friendly, I felt safe, the rooms and bathrooms were clean but I had a hard time with the smell of the deodorizer.

Travelers Hotel Stop to Florida
We enjoyed our stay at the econo lodge in richburg, sc. We had a very friendly desk clerk with her southern accent check us in. We were very surprise to how clean the property. They had breakfast in the morning and a business center with free internet, This hotel is a now frills hotel but we got our money worth. We looked at other hotels in the area they were not cleaned and very pricey....
