"The hostest was so kind and even took my dietary restrictions as vegan into consideration and made the most delicious high end breakfast I had in many year! We really enjoyed the coziness of our room, so much in fact that I ended up getting the same pillow for myself as I haven't been able to find a good pillow in while. I loved my stay so much that as soon as I got home I immediately booked another stay. This time bringing my mother and sister in law with me."

"This place is very comfortable and spacious. The house provided all of the essentials for our stay. The lake views are beyond stunning. It’s so cool to be able to see the water from anywhere in the house. For boating purposes there are two marinas close by and a boat ramp across from the house. The park itself has a lot to offer for all age groups, including a (in warmer weather) swimming area, playground, grills, covered pavilions, etc. At summer pool it would offer shoreline fishing. We also saw numerous deer throughout the park. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning to this location!!!"

"Great space. Beautiful views. Communication with manager not great for check in. They didnt provide garage codes to get in. We were checking in when it was dark. We walked up a steep hill with rocks not knowing how to access the front door. The only other way to access is through front door which is not accessible with a car. Delay getting in. Once they provided garage codes we were good. You will need to carry luggage up two flights of stairs or walk your luggage all the way around to the front door."

"Nice property, great for your dog to run around, grass was long making it hard to find the droppings. The property is convenient to the marina although up a steep hill, there are a couple of sets of stairs to the chalets and another rental that drops you off a few yards from the drive. Plenty of cooking items, pots pans, baking sheets silverware. Master bath is very cozy there is not much room between the corner of the vanity and the edge of the shower to get to the toilet, must be thin to comfortably get to the toilet, the vanity could be moved six to eight inches and it would be perfect. The property is described well and if you bring a boat there is a 33 dollar a night for a transient slip and 25 dollar trailer parking fee which is up the single lane road to the top of the hill, also they want to charge a ten dollar ramp fee but it was waived. Restaurant at Flat Hollow is good, the restaurant/dock area is very new and super nice. Furniture is nice and accommodating. This is a pet friendly unit but the only cleaning items to clean floors is a broom with out a dustpan upon arrival the floors were covered in dog hair and we had to sweep the carpet in the family room. All in all it was very enjoyable stay and accommodations were very adequate, would likely rent again."

"Many issues stated in previous reviews are unresolved. Smoke alarms are missing, expired fire extinguisher, poor quality cookware, substandard furniture. The bunk bed in the basement is unusable for two people because it is not sturdy. The gas grill caught on fire because of all the residual grease and the grease tray ended up dropping out of the grill due to its poor condition. The property manager offered to bring us a new grill so hopefully the next guests won’t have this issue. Numerous other maintenance issues that did not ruin our vacation but were annoyances. Great house and great location but the house is not up to acceptable standards for this type of rental."
