What is Hygge? In short, it's a Scandinavian way of living that focuses on hunkering down and creating a safe, comforting and warm place to while away. My husband and I hand built the Hygge House with your comfort in mind. My husband and I were looking for a quiet place where we could escape city stress and noise with our pup and meet up with our son. Hygge House is in a peaceful area but still just an easy 10 minute drive from Rochester. It had a nice enclosed patio and little yard for our pup, and it had a kitchen that was well supplied (loved the old range/oven!) so we could fix our own meals when we preferred.
