Conveniently located at West End, you'll encounter this charming Cabaña. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, a 10-minute walk to the water taxi, and all activities throughout the West End. The Cabaña includes an equipped kitchen, an entertainment area with free Wi-Fi, and two bicycles. Electricity is costly on Roatan, but as a guest in our home, the first 25/kWh is free. After that, electricity is determined by the electric meter reading on arrival and departure. Please use air conditioning conservatively, with closed doors and windows, and turn off the a/c while not in the room. The electricity can be paid out of the deposit, and the remaining balance can only be returned to the guest if it does not exceed the deposit and additional charges if needed. Only registered guests are allowed; please, no smoking in the house. The property manager is fantastic, extremely responsive and bent over backwards for us. A couple of negatives, however. One, there are no window shades/coverings so one feels a little exposed. Two, while it is a very short walk to the fun town of West End, the walk is down a dark, rutted and dirt/mud road. Lastly, it advertised as having a sofa bed and it did not.
