Beach Balcony

"Room was good, and clean except for a little bit of sand on the floor, but hey—it’s the beach. We loved being able to crack the sliding glass door to listen to the surf all night. Right on the beach with easy access. Bathroom counters looked new and everything was in good shape except for a bit of wear on one of the armchairs. Really liked the laminate floors in lieu of carpet. Balcony was small, but quite adequate for two people. (If there had been four of us, it would have been a little tight and there were only two chairs.) The gas fireplace was a nice touch—didn’t need it for warmth this time of year, but I’m sure it would be lovely. Didn’t go in the pool or jacuzzi, but poked my head in the building before and they looked good. Single “K” cup coffee maker in the room, plus fridge and microwave , which we didn’t even open. No free breakfast served by the hotel, but the restaurant was right across the parking lot. Ocean view, pretty good food and reasonable prices. Only thing we didn’t care for was how squishy the beds were—not lumpy or anything, just very soft. We will definitely stay here again."

Pirates cove!

"I would like to start this by saying this is our first time renting from Vacasa. Super smooth process, besides a hiccup changing the dates, but all is good. #1 this is an amazingly cozy/ homey little A- frame that you can tell has seen better days. #2 When we walked in, it had a slight dog smell, probably from last renters so that's why I left a couple air fresheners. But upon further expection my husband and I think you might have some water damage. I didn't take any pictures but you can see it on the SW ceiling. #3 When we went to use the sliding glass door it swung open so fast I thought I was going to break it, then we noticed that the south-west corner of the house is slouching. #4 no fan in the bathroom, and the shower is pretty small. I'm 5'7 and I couldn't see my face in the bathroom mirror. #5 One of the check out thing was to "load the dishwasher" which you do not have, so maybe they just need to be revised. #6 The front right burner on the stove did not work. #7 The downstairs bed is quite uncomfortable, so the second night my husband and I slept on the futons in the living room, but those were honestly no good either. #8 niether entry door stays shut without using the deadbolt #9 there was a dripping/ draining sound coming from the kitchen the entire time, not a huge deal I thought it might be the fridge. But we just wanted to make y'all aware. ALL OF THAT SAID!THIS PLACE FELT LIKE HOME , I wish I could live there for the rest of my life."

"I will only stay here from now on. It’s so quiet I can’t ever hear anything from my room. The jacuzzi tub is the best. The view is out of this world. And the bed, bedding and pillows are AMAZING. The double shower heads are extra nice. Wonderful thick towels with robes for two. I just stayed for 3 nights and tried to stay 2 more and they were booked. I was so sad I had to find somewhere else to stay. Nothing compares to the Starfish Manor. Bravo!!"

"Front desk team is welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, neat, and smelled fresh. There was 2 sets of towles in the bathroom and two bars of soap (bring your own hair wash) so it was nice we didn't have to go ask for more towles. Plus they have the cheapest rates in town!! "
