You smoke and love time travel? This is for you!
The rooms are held in pristine 70s condition. An amazing feat to keep vintage decor so well preserved. If time travel is for you then you are in for a treat. This comes in the requisite package deal of the time, namely with an apparently modular smoking/non-smoking room. I had booked a non-smoking room but got one with an ashtray and a faint cold smoke smell. The next day I asked to be moved to a non-smoking room, which was obliged by hotel staff. The new room had no ashtray, but in exchange had fresh smoke smell coming in from surrounding rooms. So either this hotel has no non-smoking section at all or I was sold for a fool and put into a smoker room without ashtray. I had two rooms reserved, for myself and my colleague, but only one room was available upon check-in, and my colleague had to move to another hotel in the area, at 2am in the morning. No apologies from hotel staff for this, but I was told the next day, upon my request to get assurances to not be held liable for a reservation that the hotel did not honour, that "it was no problem". Thanks so much! WiFi worked well one day, lousy the next and not at all the third day. So not a good place if you need Internet access for your business. At breakfast the pepper shaker's lid was broken and the entire content landed on my eggs. Pretty funny, in hindsight, but not at the moment. Which didn't stop the waiter from chuckling when he took the eggs away. All in all, a surprisingly more surreal place than expected.

Very comfortable, feel at home, no unnecessary luxury, good for business, good food. Excellent location before the subway construction started, now inconvenience caused by many road blocks and subsequent traffic jams. For same reason, shops and restaurants adjacent mostly closed or relocated, so no choice of restaurants but one in the hotel.

A very old hotel with rude employees such as the bellman Jahangir. I tried to use the computer at the business center and he asked me for 50 riyals in cash!!! And he even told me why don’t you use your laptop in your room instead!? I didn’t bring my laptop & it’s not his business to tell me what to do! Never again

Dated, but true quality in the heart of riyadh
Although dated the allhozama does hotelery very well. The service is impeccable the quality of breakfast, linens, soaps cristofle cutlery etc is top notch......it just feels like your in a super hotel in the 70s....which ti he fair has its charm! Their garden is an absolute oasis in the centre of Riyadh with an amazing view of fasaliah tower....you will sleep well, but the built in analogue radio in your bed wont work.....good thing they have put modern TVs in! The place has always been an institution in Riyadh and o camp recommend it highly enough

Poor Attitude of Reception Staff
I booked this hotel as I stayed in the property years ago. The hotel itself is fine and the breakfast is good. The problem lies with the attitude of the reception staff Check in and more so check out was extremely poor. There are many options in Riyadh. Unfortunately this is no longer on my list.

Quaint and Friendly
This hotel has been around for many years and brings back memories of the colonial days. Although dated it is still one of the best hotels in terms of coziness and service. Breakfast is served on white table cloths and silver service and is the tastiest from all the hotels I have visited.

It was accepted but the hotel condition look old little bit specially the room furnitures The garden restaurant area was fantsatic , I like the quite style and the food was good Something I didnt like was the communication between hotels.com and this hotel which cost me to pay 110 SAR for the breakfast , even it was included in reservation
