Very clean, quiet and intimate resort. Great layout! It was nice to have the restaurants, pool, and beach so close together. The food was great and we were impressed with the high quality alcohol included with the all inclusive package. We really enjoyed the location too. Lots of beautiful beach to walk beyond the resort and they include a fun little bike tour into town each weekday. Highly recommend if you're looking for something quiet, restful and luxurious!

The resort is very nice. The staff cleans the grounds daily and the rooms twice a day. The resort s small and quiet. Not a party resort. Food is good and a variety of themes. We always chose the ala carte menu. Room service for a late night steak. The Heaven beach bar had great wings, salad, fruit plates, and tacos. We also enjoyed a late night drink with Felix in the lobby bar. It’s a mix of retirement folks and families with kids. Not much activity but we enjoy the beach walks to see the dolphins and the private feeling.

The Grand Residences exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful property. The service was outstanding and friendly. We enjoyed the meals, activities, and beach. The resort is not too large so you never feel crowded. There were little details they provided like cool cloths, fruit bars, and cold water when you were sitting at the beach. I will be returning!

The property itself is gorgeous. The master suite is a must with families. The junior suite is essentially just a hotel room and doesn’t fit more than 3 people. The Heaven bar food is the best. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. It’s by far a more relaxed vibe but the food is better than a traditional AI.

Really enjoyed the suite, its layout, the appliances and the “rain fall” shower. The pool and it’s amenities were fabulous! The drinks throughout the property were exceptional, room service efficient, house keeping excellent and the multiple “unique special little touches” greatly appreciated. The Grand Residences Riviera exceeded our expectations.

The staff, and food are spectacular, especially when choosing a la carte options at the restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be back again. We opted for a Swedish massage on our first day here to get things started on a relaxing note, and it certainly was a great way to begin our stay. We enjoyed how intimate the resort is; it is very walkable and quiet. There is no night life to speak of, but that is something that we liked about it. The room service is 24/7, so you can have your own relaxing night with some HBO and snacks after a day at the pool. There is a store on the site, which had some lovely souvenirs if you forget about something, and it also carries essentials and local snacks.

We read all of the previous comments and were optimistic when we booked. We were not disappointed. A snag with the shuttle from airport (make sure you get voucher by email) but everything else was perfection! It is true, the staff are top notch! Everything about this resort felt five-star to us. It is small and quiet and every detail is well considered. We truly didn’t want for anything or have one complaint all week. The food was terrific every day. Loved the shrimp tacos on the beach and the Heaven salad. Nice variety at every dinner. We really enjoyed every day there and never left the resort. There were some children with families, but everyone was well-behaved and considerate. We were offered the opportunity to attend a sales pitch (timeshare) but we politely made it clear we were not interested. It wasn’t mentioned again. My best advice would be to understand that this is a five-star resort and the staff work hard to make this a luxurious experience for everyone. Bring appropriate attire for meals and be prepared to tip for the amazing service you will receive.

The entire hotel is a total of 3 steps. The rooms are super outdated and dusty. The service is medicore at best. It was pretty much a retirement home

Overall, the property was great and clean. We like the food and quietness. However, some of the staff could have been a bit more friendly. If you like a nightlife, there is not much to do after dinner.

I initially booked 2 ocean view rooms, paying extra for the upgrade from resort view rooms. However, upon arrival, my family was assigned 2 resort view rooms, which clearly did not have an ocean view. Some employees at the property agreed that these were indeed resort view rooms. I complained to both the hotel and Expedia, but Expedia was unable to resolve the issue as the property insisted that the rooms were ocean view. The property then mentioned a disconnect with Expedia in assigning the correct rooms. The next day, they upgraded one room to ocean front but did not offer a refund for the difference, as one room remained a resort view and we had already spent one night in the initial room. I had planned this trip almost a year in advance and was extremely frustrated by this situation. I am now uncertain about trusting Expedia for future bookings. The food at the hotel was mediocre, and on one occasion, there was a mosquito in our meal. They also served us frozen salmon, which they called "salmon carpaccio," and it was the worst dish I have ever tasted. I never expected such poor service and food quality from a 5-star hotel. I will not be booking this hotel again.

The upgraded room was stupendous. Front desk staff were exemplary. Concierge not very attentive and consequently could not get my choice of restaurants for dinner. Pools are excellent with a great beach and short walk to marine refuge.

We absolutely loved our one week stay at the Grand Residences in early February. Everything was perfect from the private complimentary pick-up at the airport to the check-in process to the amazing food and the wonderful staff. No need to race down at the break of dawn to reserve loungers here as they are reserved for us and we really loved the vibe of a smaller more boutique all-inclusive here. No complaints and definitely would come back without question.

Property is very nice, expensive, suits are very accommodating, staff is very nice. Food is good, especially for breakfast. 2 a La carte restaurants have the same menu, if it is not a theme night. Annoying part is you have to reserve dinner reservations for the whole week ahead at the available times not when you would like. At the beach bar at lunch you have to wait for food a long time.. Beach is with rocks, which make walking and going into the. Sea complicated. No activities at night, except for mucus one evening and hanging out at the bar. So nice place to relax, for big families with children and elderly, but not for active people, who like activities other then aerobics in the pool
