To have so many staff and for them to all be so so good, friendly and helpful is a real testament to how well this place is managed. We spent a week in January as a family of 8 ranging from 17-7 and there was something for everyone. The rooms were nice, the buffets and restaurants were great. If you are looking for opulent luxury, this isn’t your place but for everyone else this will exceed your expectations.

Beautiful property. Excellent dining. Staff was kind and responsive. First room were in smelled dirty with a sewage smell and was very noisy with highway sound. We were moved to a new room that was very clean and less noisy.

We had a really good time at this resort. The pool areas were really nice for the kids, staff was friendly and attentive. One complaint would be the lighting in rooms could use an update, our room was very dark. The resort is beginning to show its age but overall we had a good time and really enjoyed our stay.

Resort is not what it once was. This was our 5th stay in the last eight years. Many of the amenities and a la carte eating Venues were either closed or only half open. The resort in general seems to be focusing on families and travel club time share patrons. The rest of the guests have to make due with poor quality of entertainment and food choices. The grounds are beautiful and adults only areas are quiet and relaxing. It’s sad for us as we truly enjoyed the old resort, but given the obvious direction it is headed we won’t be back.

this resort is gorgeous! a lot of wildlife. we saw so many coatis, raccoons, and birds. the lush greenery and jungle vibe is amazing. the staff were very friendly and helpful. it’s a big resort and they have trams to get you around if needed. I highly recommend.

Staff engagement really stands out at this resort. Was my first time visiting and online shows a pool table in their Sports Bar, however, there was not one in there when I checked in. I had trouble getting JD/regular Pepsi from a lot of the bars as it was not stocked, which I thought was shocking. I received an email requesting feedback on the first morning and I obliged, listing the issues with the lack of available JD and the pool table issue. Staff responded by sending me a bottle of JD, every bar was then stocked with JD and regular Pepsi and the Sports Bar suddenly had a pool table, fuzzball table and arcade games! Staff even went out of their way to secure us a booking for the Japanese restaurant when an accident meant we had to leave dinner early. Top marks for customer service, keep it up!

The property is beautiful and offers many options! It was so nice to be able to go between the resorts and the transportation was easy and fast! The staff were so nice although at times, were a little slow, but that’s the name of the game with a resort of this size. Now this report is massive, get ready to walk a lot! The signs are a little confusing at first. I personally didn’t mind the walk but would have loved to be closer to the ocean. There weren’t rooms close to the ocean or pool. We did have a leak in our room and overall, it could have been updated some compared to the other rooms we saw but the staff kept it clean and stocked up. The ocean has a small section where it’s not rocky, otherwise it’s super rocky in order to swim or get to a spot to stand. There was a lot of seaweed but the staff worked diligently to clean it up. I wouldn’t stay here again, but it is ideal for families as there’s lots of stuff to do with kids.

We spent 10 days at the Grand Palladium and really enjoyed our stay and experience. Our entire family loved it, and we would come back for sure! I rated it a 4 but it would be a 4.5 truly because of the following: 1. We arrived to our hotel room in the Colonial resort and boy was it outdated. Our room was damp, didn't feel clean (to us) and we noticed in the washroom that the shower wand had to be held because if not, it would splash water everywhere! We tried to find a way to fix it but we noted that it did not fit the holder where it was supposed to sit. The fix: By our first night, we knew we needed to change rooms and so, paid extra to get transferred to a room that was newer. This was great as the room and washroom was beautiful. This did irk us a bit as we felt that having to pay extra after the money we spent originally and for staying 10 days was unnecessary but it is what it is. 2. The Shuttles were great... When we could get one. We would call for one from our villa and we'd be told that none were available, or we would wait for one at one of the lobby's and we would have to wait long periods of time. Empty shuttles would drive past us and when we would ask for a ride (because it was on their way), they would politely decline. Sometimes the drivers would stop and ask us if we needed a ride and we truly loved that! The fix: We ended up walking from our new room in Kantenah to Colonial every day. Which was fine as we needed to walk off the buffet lol!

The Colonial is one of three connected resorts, and while it was large, it did not seem overly crowded in the buffet or by the pool and beach. The walkways were quaint and clean. The pool was awesome! The staff in all areas were friendly and enthusiastic! I would recommend going here again.

The Grand Palladium Colonial have 2 hotel at the same area, the second one is Grand Palladium White Sands, this hotel is much much better in all aspects, better buffet, better and quiet pool, absolutely better rooms, the other one, The Palladium Colonial needs a lot improvement, special the rooms, furniture are very old and in bad shape. Rooms at first floor smells like humidity or mold in all building, pool very busy, buffet very busy, furniture needs replaced at pool area. Exterior areas are amazing in both hotels, car service for connecting one hotel with the other are excellent!! Every day they have pool activity like aerobics, bikes inside the pool at White Sands hotel, this is absolutely wonderful, the guys doing excellent work 👏👏👏👏👏 ,all the stuff are very nice and always available for any thing you need. Every day they cook wonderful food like Paella, Hamburgers and more around noon at the pool side. Hotel night shows are exceptional!!! The dancing team at the show ( girls and boys) are incredible!! We don’t have enough words for express how good the are excellent dancing and acting!!Every night is a different show one better than other, absolutely amazing!!!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏 Beach is not good, very small area looks good from outside but inside is a lot of rocks. Fauna around hotel is amazing, you can see every day a lot beautiful animals like iguana, coatis, monkeys flamingos etc, beautiful and transparent lakes everywhere!! The food at the buffet restaurant are ok!

Truly wonderful!! What can you ask for more! It’s like a big family in Paradise. This is our first time here with my family and we enjoyed it very much. The resort has everything you need from a relaxing spa, beautiful beach, all kinds of pools, kid’s club, great entertainment and beautiful areas to take pictures. My daughter loved the kid’s club and I felt safe leaving her there which is very important. The buffet was very nice with great variety of choices. Their restaurants are excellent, our favourite was Bahia e Brasa.You really eat well here!! The staffs are all amazing and welcoming.They really take care of you like royalty. Big shout out to Sony & everyone who made our stay so wonderful. We will definitely come back.

We stayed at many resorts around the world but Grand Palladium experience was the best so far. The property is huge but easy to walk around. They have golf carts for your convenience. We felt like we stayed at the national park were all the trees and jungles and wild life was captive. We had an amazing concierge Sony. She was the best!!! So accomodating, nice, polite, always available! She booked all our restaurants and massage services, answered all my endless questions and was always there for us. I haven't seen such service anywhere. The property is clean and it wasn't crowded, we loved our stay with two kids (2 and 8 years) and they loved it too. Some suggestions for your future stay: buy some mosquito spray, buy swim shoes if you want to enjoy snorkeling. Thank you so much Grand Palladium and Sony we will be absolutely back!!!!

Wasted my vacation here There is nothing likable in this resort, and I would never ever go back to this resort in my whole life. The mosquitoes were everywhere in the room in the lobby area and so many other indoor area. They do not have any control on the mosquitoes whatsoever. We have stayed in Barcelo , Maya Palace, and I bureau star and as well RIU all the other hotels were amazing the best. Barcelo is one of the best resort in Riviera Maya. RIU is outstanding way beyond excellent. The Grand Palladium is the worst resort the food quality is very bad and the room view is in the jungle you can’t see nothing out of your room no swimming pool no beach Justin surrounded in the jungle and mosquitoes everywhere. The worst part after mosquito is in order to get to your room. You have to wait for the golf cart to take you to the room and just because their different segment level of service if you pick the basic room, you will be waiting 20 to 30 minutes just to go to your room by the golf cart. The only thing is likable slightly, which is a swimming. Pool is good nothing else. None of the other resorts any mosquitoes-much mosquitoes. I was thrown into to do a timeshare webinar by trick by someone. I hated this resort every single day I stayed. I have zero complaint for the other resorts. I mention in my comment, and the price for the other resorts are very much similar as this resort offer but the experience in the other resort was phenomenal, extremely outstanding.

We truly enjoy the hospitality given to us by the concierge Sony, she texted us a couple of hours before arriving to Cancun, set up the taxi service for pick up at airport and check out. She also did all of our restaurant reservation and Spa. We enjoy the hotel food :) and entertainment. The beach and pool area were excellent!!! I give this hotel a 5star review….
