Michael, first I’d like to thank you for your business it is very much appreciated. The site and kitchen has the before check out list. Basically leave home and appliances as found spotless. I even went over that with you at checking in. You committed on how clean the bbq was, I expected it to be left as found, it was not. I have provided everything you might have at home then some. The carpets had many stains maybe from the dogs, three comforters had to be dry cleaned because of stains, cleaners cleaned the day you arrived, home needed cleaned again after you left, with me spending additional time to bring my home back up to the high standards I expect when visiting Airbnb’s. Cleaning fee does not include cleaning appliances,BBQ grill, and laundering 45 towels. And reorganize all the kitchen cabinets. I am sorry you didn’t realize what was expected before you left my home. List is on the site and on the fridge in kitchen. I make it very clear. I do realize some guests aren’t as Clean as I would like, my mother was a meticulous housekeeper, she taught us three boys that clean is a good thing, and to leave it better than we found it. Future guests please read the explanation on the site, THIS IS NOT A HOTEL ITS MY PRIVATE HOME Once again I’m sorry for the additional charges it’s never a good ending for me or you.

Anthony and family we’re fantastic guests the host my home. 

You invited guests to the home without my approval, additional guests stayed the night I was told by you if more guests stayed I would be notified, I was not! Monies held were for additional guests staying the night not utilities, even though you went way over on gas usage pool was 87 when you left! I don’t look at the 4 outside cameras unless there is activity for your safety, security, and my peace of mind with guests that break rules, having many more staying that are not on inquiry or rental. I am honest fair and feel guests should be honest as well ! I have screen shots of each day, not of you in you bathing suit, but where invited friends were showing up for a bbq swim day! I do allow that and usually with no additional charges, however only with my approval! My rules, rental agreement and 99.9% of countless honest reviews tell a different story. $50 per additional guest per night is an arm & leg I think not! Let this be a warning to you and future guests, be honest to amount of people staying, (this is my home) ask if you would like family & friends over for the day, really is that too much to ask? Respect comes to mind here. Last group invited 60-75 people over for a Graduation celebration that they stated 15 people only on their inquiry, 4 cleaners 8 hours to bring home back to my high standard at a very high cost. Pool/Jacuzzi had to be drained, cleaned, refilled, two days of lost rental, hours and hours of clean-up outside front and rear planters as well as my Neigbhors yard due to thousands of confetti, poped balloons, trash, And cigarette butts! I wrote you a nice review even though you weren’t truthful with me and broke rules. I was at the home when you left, 8 guests exited the home that you conveniently left off the inquiry! 6 guests stated on your inquiry! This goes without saying .... you will not be coming back to my home! Word to the wise.... HONESTY IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE BEST POLICY!!!!! It is a shame you weren’t honest with me. That does get me a bit concerned. I provide a beautiful home, with amazing amenities. I’m honest, fair, and far from what you described! It’s never good when guest are dishonest with me. I am truly sorry you feel the way you do, this could of been completely avoided! “HONESTY” Don

Vanessa you are not truthful, I have cameras that prove the 60+ people you invited, the damages done, having to drain pool because of the 30+ kids and several adults in a 14x28 pool, rules state no more than ten at any one time. There are many other issues that will be settled in court, remember I have pictures and proof. So I’m a criminal now, be very carefully on your false Slanderous Accusations! 53 reviews on the site tell a different story about Howe I conduct business. You Blatantly lied to me about the people staying in the house, the amount of people you Had at the graduation party. Not to exceed 15 stated by you on the site! guests stole over 100 avocados for my tree, two chairs In the game room broken, all the darts from the dartboard were broken, plantation shutters in living room need repair, You and 4 kids came back and cleaned for two hours which was far from hitting the mark on how clean You received my home. It Took 4 cleaners all day to bring my home back to the quality of clean I would expect. 20+ loads of towels, sheets blankets, never before have my home and I been so disrespected and down right lied to! Trash thrown in my neighbors back yard, Confetti is still all over the yard planters everywhere. Any further Communication I suggest your attorney talk to Vrbo. Their will be a write up on the site warning host what you did at my home, read your rental agreement, you broke most all the rules that Are intended to keep my home And neighborhood safe and enjoyable. Your group played music loud till 4 in the morning. Total disrespect and ignorance! Shame on you!

Wow.... never had a negative review quite like this before. Did you open the blinds, house is bright, sunny and very airy, new marble and granite counter tops, Stone bathrooms and showers, new 19” soaker tub in hall bath! Dated decor? The site has tons pictures! Brand new smart TV’S in every room including outside. New dual pane replacement windows. New covering on pool table, your son Scott was impressed when he checked in! One guest left a review about the size of the bedrooms 12’x14’ And even stated the master needed it’s own zip code! It was so large. Sorry you weren’t happy with my beyond beautiful home,inside and outside. Maybe a hotel would be better for your next trip!

Clara, as explained to you, I stay at my girlfriends home when my home has guests. No one entered the home that I know of during your stay, I also know there are no ghosts, my guests and myself have the only keys. As explained, at times during the day or sometimes early evening, I use the RV as my office, never in the middle of the night! (God knows I need my sleep) I was in the RV in the morning waiting for you and your guests to check out. My daughter and I do the cleaning/maintenance of my home. Your girlfriend/guest had to of imagined the door opening and someone enter the home in the middle of the night, or maybe it was one of your guests that were up and went outside. Why didn't you say anything to me when checking out about the mystery guest/door opening, why weren't the police called, or myself. I'll have to say this is the strangest review I've had in 7 years providing my home to travelers. This is a quiet safe neighborhood. I've owned this home And lived here 20 years. I've never had anything like that happen or have neighbors that has happened too. This mystery occurrence is the strangest remark any of my amazing guests have ever made. I can honestly say, I sincerely doubt that happened. You wrote the home was... in your words ... very clean, really nice, comfortable, can you tell me why you only gave it 3 stars? Just curious.

O'Brian family, you were amazed with the property when you checked in, and during your stay, when your entire deposit was not refunded, you became bitter. I'm sorry you went over included electric and gas usage, it also took longer than the 5 hours to clean the home to the level you received it. It is stated on the site in many areas in reference to cleaning and utility usage. As the pictures show the home is not dated as you claim, completely and newly remodeled in 2015, I do the cleaning and maintainence myself, that way it's done, not only to my high standards, but to the standards my guests would expect. My integrity, and condition of my home as witnessed by many very pleased travelers stands true. The breaker keep tripping because of to many UK hair dryers and such being used at the same time. The pool has never turn green for the 20 years I've owned this property. I'm sorry you feel your were not treated fairly. Its never positive when your displeased. I have 36 5 star reviews, with many guests that return each and every year. Perhaps a hotel would be better for your family for any future travels. Their were international charges that you were told would be an additional charge. The kitchen cabinets, granite counters were left filthy, as well as the stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and BBQ. I was staying in the trailer because of a very painful divorce, however I do not work on my new truck, or set and watch TV in the garage while guests are at my home as you claim. I encourage every guest to use the E-Check option for payment which there is no charge. I do apologize for any misunderstanding and your bitterness. I provide a beautiful,meticulous,very clean, updated home for travelers, while I try to please every guest and their families , some will not be happy no matter what. It is a shame, you should be embarrassed the condition you left my home in. FYI... none of this is funny too me! Don Kuskie owner
