"This property is an oasis. There was fruit growing everywhere. The differences of plants and trees is like nothing we saw while in Costa Rica. Very memorable and our host was very helpful throughout the whole time we were there. FYI when they say you need 4x4 there are not joking around. We had a rental that had 4x4 and the road still made my stomach drop. Worth it if you can get to it."

After walking down the stairs, you see the most incredible rock house with built-in spa, open concept living/dining areas, and truly incredible bathroom with heated seat and great shower. "Beautifully renovated property (it reopened in January after extensive property upgrades). The villas were beautifully designed. The views are stunning. The pool area was lovely. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff was very friendly. No major complaints whatsoever. A few minor things to improve, but not enough to give less stars (and the staff mentioned that they were still finalizing some things due to furniture shipments delayed, etc). The pool area could use a few more lounge chairs; the main lobby area could use a bit more decor (plants, more tables, pillows, etc) to fill out the space and create a more intimate feeling. "
