Ideally placed close to station. No climbs up the hill. Nice terrace and plenty space.

A clean, modern room right in the heart of Riomaggiore. The train station is five minute on the flat walk. Unlike other older villages in Italy we have stayed in, Riomaggiore went quiet at 11:00 when everything closed. Highly recommend Mar Mar for the room and experience.

The good: Perfect location! Only one set of stairs! Mario was cool! The bad: the bar/restaurant below made our room smell of cigarettes smoke pretty much the whole time night way worse ,loud music. The second day no room service.

Hello, I have just read your opinion and I am very sorry that you did not find yourself well, yes I know that the bar below could somehow give some trouble but as you may have noticed the closing of the music is at 11.00 pm and in a tourist town it is an acceptable time. as for the "room service" we are not a 5-star hotel and customers are advised on arrival that the change of towels takes place every two days. If you wanted to find the service you are complaining about, you would have had to choose among the many hotels with many stars with the payment of much higher figures than you paid to marmar. Even though it was pouring rain when we arrived, we were impressed with the comfortable accommodations and amazing view. Our host was willing to lend us umbrellas, however thankfully it stopped raining by the next day. The suite was very spacious and had everything we needed.

Loved the rooftop deck! Great view, location close to train, restaurants. It’s older but so is everything in town. Great coffee & kitchenette. We loved this town the best of all in Cinque Terre.
