Just be mindful of a few things: you have to pay for linens which ran us about 20 per bed. We didn’t catch it initially on the description of the property.The power did go out (no inclement weather) but it was back on in a couple hours and the host was very responsive when it came to this. If you’re thinking about door dashing, we did it once and had plenty of options. The WiFi was solid for streaming on the Roku, but it’s not ideal otherwise. It was laggy just to scroll instagram and it was faster when we used our mobile data. The hot tub was great but know that the view shown on the listing is being blocked now by some vegetation and small trees growing. All in all, a great quiet getaway! ##### A R. The only real issue we had was that we almost didn't make it up the mountain despite having a 4WD SUV. The road is large loose gravel, and at one particularly steep point it briefly changes to 2 paved tire tracks- trying to transition onto that was crazy because the gravel provides no grip and the whole setup just lends itself to spinning tires. We had to back up and try again several times just to make it up that area. Aside from that situation though, everything was ideal and we loved our relaxing weekend at the cabin. The views, trails, and clean mountain air was invigorating. A couple of things that could have made the experience a little better:1) After digging into the house amenities section, I saw that it read ‘no linens are provided as clearly stated in the listing”. It must’ve not been that clear because we completely missed this when booking the cabin. Only when I clicked into the property and on the details did I see this note. I’m glad we brought towels. 2) Although the property was cleaned well, the shower heads still had mildew/mold. That’s definitely one of those things that should be checked as that’s where the water comes out and hits our body. Needed some bleach. 3) I’m always grateful for HVAC, but when you’re in the mountains, you really want to experience the fresh, crisp air. There are no screens on the windows or doors. Would have been nice to be able to open a window or two at night and not have to rely on the AC.None of the above were huge issues and we had an amazing time. Would book again. ##### Edgar J. Honestly, I was most pumped about having a pool and a hot tub for our little getaway, but once we arrived I couldn't believe the cabin size, cleanliness, vibe, views, decor - it was just perfect. There were only two of us and our two doggos, so we didn't \*need\* that much space, but it was just beautiful and serene, equipped with anything you need, and felt on top of the world so to speak/literally lol. Pool and hot tub were clean as well and so fun. One important thing to understand; this is a top of mountain property- the drive up is wild if you're not used to it. We had a pickup truck and still struggled a bit but by the end, he was having fun with it. I suggest bringing the food there when you first arrive, as nearest stores are 25ish minutes. We had so much fun and absolutely want to return! 5.5 hour drive from NJ and so worth it! Hosts were so accommodating and kind, with quick responses and easy instructions for check in, etc. thank you for such great memories! ##### Catie Z. The views from the cabin are as good or better than many on the Appalachian Trail or other nearby trails and parks, and the cabin itself was well appointed. The hosts were great and very prompt with communication. The road and driveway to access the property are gravel and somewhat steep, but I didn't feel like we needed high clearance or 4 wheel drive at any point (in good weather).
