Gorgeous place, wonderful views of the mountain and the river, and super peaceful. Only wish we could have stayed longer! The property is secluded but close to all the area attractions and places to eat. The kids had a blast running around all the open space and playing in the river. The cool nights were perfect for relaxing in the hot tub and looking at the night sky. Would recommend to anyone. You can't beat the scenery, sunsets over the Shenandoah River with the mountains in the backdrop. You can canoe, fish, swim, hike right on the property. Lots beautiful trees and wildlife. A 1900s farm house located an easy walk to the River.The house has a huge kitchen, living spaces and 2 bedrooms. We stayed in the room facing the mountains a perfect view!Our pup Skye the world was his oyster, running, rolling, wading and loving life! The fire pit near the river was unprotected on a windy day so we used the one next to the house. A lovely end to the day. The pictures in the listing are accurate. Easy walk to the Shenandoah River. The farmhouse is at the end of a gravel road and very secluded. Just what we were looking for. We watched about 20 wild turkeys hunting for food in the morning and saw many deer at all times of the day. ##### Martin M. It was so quiet and relaxing, sitting on the porch in the evenings was the best. We enjoyed walking down to the river from the house and the proximity to Luray and Skyline Drive was perfect. House was bigger than expected and rooms were a decent size. Beds were also very comfortable. The walk to the river was easy and beautiful (we drove to the chairs).
