Great location, shame only the Riga has not cleaned snow for the time we were there and at the moment construction works near are interfearing.

Fantastic hotel, it’s certainly the best mid budget hotel in riga, myself and my wife have stayed in quite a few. Hotel is just across the road from Mercure hotel but in my opinion much better. Carpet in superior room, nice modern bathroom, great choice in breakfast and in general the hotel feels new, they have done a great job on their refurb. Next time we stay in Riga, we will be looking to book this hotel over others for price and quality. Morning Jacuzzi and sauna was great too and morning session included within our stay. Fantastic and big thumbs up from us

Everything basic at good location
The staff at front desk is really polite and helpful. She will greet you when you return to hotel from outside. The room is okay even with the competitive hotel rate. The only complaint is that the toilet is very smelly. On day 2, I poured 2 glasses of water into the drainage and the smell was gone.

Poor service
The hotel room was comfortable and spacious enough. The biggest downside was that nobody cleaned the room or took out trash or refilled the in-room coffee/tea supplies. The room was empty from 10.30 in the morning until late evening so there was enough time for the room service to get there. Also, the selection of bathroom amenities is very poor! There is just all-over shower gel on the wall and soap for handwashing, but no shampoo or hair conditioner. The minibar was also empty from the start. But the location is very good, it is in the center and therefore an easy walk from nearby parks, restaurants and shopping.

First the good: The check in staff were nice. The breakfast was excellent. The parking was interesting as it was in a car elevator. The hotel lobby and public areas are very nice. Now the bad. The hotel room was tiny, the beds were too soft, the room had a smell and the window did not open. Room cleaning did not happen. Now the really bad. The hotel did not feel safe. The key cards kept being wiped out. We were able to get new ones without ID, there was a person passed out in the hallway. Scary.

Good hotel with a few buts
Overall nothing wrong with the location or quality of the rooms. Good location and easy reach of everything. Quiet even if there’s building work next door. A few minor things though; the bathroom bin was full when we arrived, the soap dispensers were never filled and room cleaning was minimal at best. Most days they just made the bed. Which are all very minor issues. An annoying recurring issue was the cheap RFID hotel room keys - half of the days the keycards stopped working and had to be recalibrated at reception.

Pretty basic
Overall quite clean hotel, kind of basic. Had to ask for extra pillows on first night as only got one small one in the room, but to be fair to the hotel they came very promptly. Double bed isn’t really a double bed, it’s two singles. With two single duvets too. Mattress is just a mattress topper so made for a not so comfortable sleep. We left our luggage with the hotel whilst we explored our final day, which was good, however no tags were given so it felt like anyone could take the luggage. Also asked to use the amenities (shower) in the gym at the end of our final day but were told we weren’t allowed even though we had been guests. Great for a basic stay but probably wouldn’t come back.

Stayed million times, will stay again and again. why? - rooms are great (though make sure yours is facing inner yard, so x3x will work better); - great breakfast, though people at egg-station might be slow russians, who does not understand or does not want to understand and makes silly comments towards you for their mistakes; - always great service at reception; - superb restaurant - honestly, even if i am not saying in Tallink, i come here for dinner. - all in all - just a superb value for what you pay, trust me.

We had a pleasant stay in the hotel. The staff was nice and quite helpful. Pros of staying here: great breakfast with a good choice of quality foods. Cons: beds were not comfortable and the bed sheets were of strange size and rolling up all the time (you wouldn’t like to sleep on a bare mattress). Also sauna and spa was closed for the whole duration of our stay, which is very disappointing as we chose the hotel for this amenity. But even if it would have worked, it is accessible for guests only from 6.30am to 11am. So unless you like going to sauna first thing in the morning, this is an amenity on paper.

Really nice hotel and well situated for the old town. The only criticism I could give would be that breakfasts were a little chaotic as many people arrive at the same time, Buffet food was not always hot but the main annoyance was that the two coffee machines were right next to each other which led to long queues as often, one machine was not working. I would suggest that the machines are put in separate areas of the dining room and away from other drinks such as juices etc.

The breakfast buffet really gave them some positive rating. Other then that I wouldn’t stay there again. When asked about ice and wine glasses was told to got to hotel bar or restaurant and get them there. Usually at 4 star hotel they bring it to the room. Check in desk staff was not to friendly

The main staff could have been more pleasant. When asking them a question they weren't too helpful and didnt want to help you. Cleaning staff were so friendly. Beautiful hotel well centred and you can walk to all destination. Bus for airport is at the door , and only costs €2 one way. Overall hotel lovely, clean but staff could do with a course on how to treat their customers.

This is a modern hotel, very clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Has everything you need, including a small gym and sauna. Rooms are not that big, but nicely furnished and decorated, the bathroom was very nice, with underfloor heating, great for barefeet!

Modern. Clean. Not worth 120€ even in mid summer.
Modern hotel by bus/ train station. Good location geographically but not a nice area overall. Small uninspired rooms. The hotel is super, super busy ALL the time with pensioners - all the bookings based on their ferry points perhaps. Great breakfast spread but not great cold scrambled eggs. No other options.

Hotel was very good but let down by 2 things. Breakfast choice was limited and Wifi stopped working the moment you go though the room door which is a heavy fire door. Design flaw which depends on where the Wufi repeaters are.

Good hotel to stay in Riga
Nice hotel, located in very convenient area. Breakfast variety is amazing. Nice furniture; springs in the mattress were not comfortable and made my back hurt. Some mold in showers, I think it is due to the shower build up that some areas hard to reach to clean. Lack of towels only two per room. Area in the lobby belong to the bar so you can’t just hang around, you must buy a drink.

Very pleasantly surprised at the decor, cleanliness and atmosphere at the hotel. My room was ‘basic’ however it exceeded my expectations in decor, cleanliness, amenities and space. I coild not have been more comforatable. I am very glad I chose to stay with Tallink. I was impressed with the choice of food at breakfast. There was something for eeryone despite where from the globe they came from. Even a lacto free gluten free girl from California was happy!

The stuff was very "cold fishes". no even one smile during a few interactions. The room was pretty nice but there is no real curtains to block the lights to the room. Means that from 4 am that the sun comes up the room is not dark and I woke up.
