I've stayed here mutiple times and nothing has changed, though that's mostly good - it's a very good value for money - simple, a little worn down, clean hotel with great and helpful staff. Close to the center of the city, free parking outside on the street, though they have a secured parking a couple of minutes walk away. The wallks are thin but fortunately it didn't matter this time.

Nice, clean, cheap - really do recommend

Very good and nice budget friendly hotel in Maskavas Forštate. Right by the tram stop for line #5 (Daugavapils iela) and a decent Maxima supermarket about 25 meters away. Cheap, clean, lots of TV-channels and good WiFi. Really nice hotel and could really recommend.

Staff excellent, very clean room, in my room very bad Wi-Fi, at night little bit noisy. Excellent commuting to the centre and very easy with Tram 7 & 14 always available and the tram stop is just at front of the hotel, very convenient. Also at the front of the hotel there is Maxima shop everything is available food, drinks etc..

Great Management.

This hotel is kind of away from the main tourist area, but it’s quiet and clean; and, the tram is so easy and fast. The market is 2-3 stops. It’s basic accommodation, but comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. There was an issue with some other guests, and management was quick to respond.

Beds too soft. Too few TV channels. Across the street from a grocery store. Walking distance to cafe and snack bar. Next to tram stop. Only 4--5 stops to center of town.

You get what you pay for. The rooms shower and wc was kind of dirty and it was very cold. There was a weird smell too. But it was cheap and the workers were very kind and check-in/check-out was easy.

We had a very pleasant stay at Dodo Hotel in Riga. The hotel is clean, comfortable and offers very good value for money. Our room was cosy, tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful throughout our visit. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The location is also convenient, with good public transport connections to the city centre. The hotel has a nice, modern atmosphere and is a great option for a short stay in Riga. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely consider staying at Dodo Hotel again. Highly recommended!

Good value for money hotel. It was basic but rooms were clean. It is in a bit of a run down area with only 1 small shop nearby but the tram into the city centre stops right outside. Be warned there is no lift and there are 4 floors.

The hotel is located in a rough area. You need to have windows open in the night (too hot otherwise) but outside the window the street is full of drunk and loud people shouting aggressively. Also a strange smell in the room. On the plusside is the price and short distance to the citycenter with tram 7.
