The kitchen was very well equipped for our big group. Linens, towels, life jackets were well supplied. Every day we used the 2 kayaks, jumped off the dock, used the hot tub and shared meals. We were lucky to see swans, a beaver, a great blue heron, and loons while kayaking. The BBQ, showers, plumbing all functioned well. We enjoyed reading the history of the area in a provided book, and went on a tour of the historic mill. The small grocery store, LCBO, and small cafe were within 5 minutes walk of the house. Being an old house, you had to watch your footing on the uneven floors. The owner was super responsive and helpful. The town itself does not have a lot to do, so bringing a few games and books is a good idea. ##### Rita P.
