The property overall is very nice and quiet place to relax and kick back, but staff rude. No greeting when entering while looking directly in your face... Kids loved the pool though, thanks for our stay.

Hot tub wasn’t working the first 2 of 3 nights. Lukewarm showers the first 2 of 3 nights and the room smelled funny like intense.

There was sticky stuff stuck to the bedside table. Our feet stuck to the kitchenette floor. The sofabed had broken supports, rendering a pronounced tilt to it. The power in the bedroom/bath went out, leading to creepy showers in the dark, and uncharged devices. The breakfast offerings were quite good.

Awesome
Hi class luxury in Chester VA. The fully equipped luxury suite will blow you away. That fireplace set the perfect mood on a cold November night. I really did not want to leave my room. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Super clean, very quiet, delicious breakfast and coffee. The staff was very friendly and extremely professional. I will defiantly return.

Welcoming Environment
I had been to a wonderful Residence Inn in Joplin, Missouri years ago. This hotel matched it. There is a basketball court near the front door, which signaled to me that you could relax here, even if you were here on business. That’s a nice message.

The staff was nice and the room was wonderful. The kids were excited to go to the pool, and that’s where things were terrible. The chlorine was so high that 10 minute’s after getting in both were coughing so badly and their eyes were burning ( my eyes were burning just being in there and I wasn’t in the water) My son started throwing up from coughing ☹️. We checked out in the morning and went to a different hotel.

Room was fine, but we specifically chose this hotel because it had a pool and hot tub. The pool was so filthy you could barely see the bottom. The hot tub had foreign material floating around in it that looked like it could have been skin... Yuk! Needless to say we didn't use the pool or hot tub,

Property was off the beaten path, so quiet. It had beautiful accommodations. Staff was pleasant. Did have an issue, though. Around 7PM the fire alarm went off, but was quickly turned off, so probably a false alarm. Fire trucks did arrive, however. About 15 minutes after the alarm was stopped, water started pouring in through the light fixtures over the sink. We called the front desk to report it and was initially told they would take care of it in the morning: we said it needed to be addressed now, it was an emergency. A few minutes later, water was pouring out of the main light in the center of the kitchen area, flooding the room. We called to say we needed to be relocated and was told the manager was on his way up. We grabbed out stuff & cleared the room. The manager arrived with the firemen, who told us to get out and not touch anything electrical. We were immediately relocated to another room that was very nice. I went downstairs to get a beer for myself and wine for my partner, and commented that we were in the room that flooded and asked if it could be complementary for our distress and inconvenience. The person at the front desk smiled and nodded. When I got the receipt for the stay, it was charged.

It's not intentional due to low pressure caused by the water leak which unfortunately affected your room you just checked in that evening. I guess, I would need to retrain my front desk personnel on how to handle situations surrounding any incidents like this and I need to follow up with my associates with whatever happened as to why the promise was not delivered. Rest assured, I will reverse the inappropriate charges. Again, thank you for your patience and staying with us even if you experienced an emergency situation.
