Designed with top level finishes and most hotels can only dream of, this will be the best away from home experience you'll have in a long time! Tucked between Richmond International Airport and downtown, Eileen has all the comforts of home and is your jump off for urban exploration. This modern & charming one bedroom is on the second floor of a completely revitalized building (Eileen) dating back to the 1900's. The building's first floor features a yoga studio & a juice bar. Upon entering the building on the North 24th street entrance, you'll see right away that during renovation we spared no expense. Once inside the apartment, let the relaxation begin. The full size kitchen comes fully stocked with stainless steel appliances and an island with leathered granite countertops. The bathroom comes with a beautiful tiled shower and a modern vanity. The apartment also has a front-loading washer & dryer has several load settings for your convenience. Netflix is available on the TV, so you can sit back on the couch and chill as your day winds down. We have stocked this apartment with everything you'll need, whether for a short weekend getaway or a month-long stay. From full size appliances to cookware and dinnerware, you can stay in and cook to your heart's content. You'll find a hairdryer, iron and full set of toiletries in the bathroom. Linens, towels are all provided as well. The only critique I would give is that the skillet at the apartment is stainless steel and you need a lot of butter or oil for it not to stick, I would recommend including more than the one skillet. It was like staying at a friend's house with the cozy, well thought out items they have. Nice blankets if you need them to sleep or curl up on the couch. They included even more bathroom extras than most nice hotels. And the bottle of wine to welcome you as you walk in was an extra nice touch. The building is quiet and getting in and out was easy and I felt very secure. Parking was also never a problem. Parking was on the street but pretty easy going for Richmond. There are two doors for extra security we felt save in the immediate area although was a little nervous coming in from the outside areas are a little rough but once in the appt it was pretty/safe. Easily accessible from the highway and very close to downtown but in a residential neighborhood. The entire apartment was clean, fresh and had everything we needed. Easy to follow instructions for check-in and check-out. Host was very accommodating for a special request, and left a lovely welcome surprise that was unexpected and appreciated!!!
