However, when we pulled out the trundle bed there was mouse poop on it. We were in town to run different races including the Richmond marathon. When we returned to the house after the races there was a stale smell and the basement was full of water. There was no hot water (the water heater broke). The host did not send someone that day so we had no hot water for over half of our stay. The host has not offered to make the situation right and even asked us to let the plumber in (by that time we had left because there was no hot water). ##### Marissa V. The location's walking distance to the convention center was a major plus, and the property itself was spacious and clean. However, one bedroom lacked proper blinds and faced a neighboring house's window, impacting privacy. Parking is along the street but we never struggled to find a space for either of the cars we had with us despite coming and going multiple times.
