Just a short drive from Funchal, this vibrant yet tranquil destination offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, rich history, and modern conveniences. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants in the centre of Ribeira Brava, as well as two branded supermarkets and a wide variety of shops, all easily accessible by foot. Historical sites like São Bento Church showcase the town’s rich heritage. Funchal is an easy 20-minute drive via expressway and motorway, and the airport a further 10 minute drive. Cleaning The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in. All linen and towels are provided. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen. Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on a 2-person occupancy. Supplements apply when additional people occupy the apartment. Maximum occupancy is 4 people. To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations: Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) in the direction of Funchal and after this, signs to Ribeira Brava. When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 25 minutes) follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol. The sliproad ends on a roundabout - take the 1st exit and you will be descending in the direction of the sea. When reaching the next roundabout turn right into the tunnel, sign-posted Ponta do Sol. At the roundabout, take the third exit signposted Continente Modelo/StartUP Madeira. Carry on to Rua de São Pedro and as soon as you reach a T-junction, turn left into Rua Juvenal Sousa Pereira and then turn into the first entrance on your right. Continue on this road until you reach a roundabout, where you should take the first exit, signposted Ribeira Brava. As soon as you leave the roundabout, enter Rua Comandante Camacho de Freitas, where you should continue until you reach a new T-junction. Turn right into Rua Dr Nicomedos Pereira and then turn left again and continue on Rua Dr Nicodemos Pereira until you reach the Terrace Sea at number 2\. The apartment was spotless, modern and very comfortable. Everything had been thought of. A fresh fruit bowl, wine and chocolates as a welcome too. The apartment is central to the bars, restaurants and shops in Ribeira Brava, and a stones throw to the seafront. I can’t recommend this apartment enough. Will be back! ##### Ann C.
