"Three House Hotel deserves more than five stars! Our room was an apartment rather than just a hotel room, and it was perfect. The rooftop pool, deck and bar was great with comfortable seating, a very nice casual yet elegant decor and an incredible view of Funchal and the waterfront. "Defiantly the worst property Ive stayed at, I wish it had reviews before I booked as I’m sure they would of agreed with my account of my time there. We killed two cockroaches, had small insects in our belongings, I’d leave the house and find them in my hand bag! The property had a strange smell, stray cats which was heartbreaking as they’d be looking/ begging fofor food. The bathroom in our room had no door, plus the water system didn’t work, so it was either piping hot (enough to make a coffee)...

"Well situated in Funchal. We found it a straightforward walk into the city centre and near to the airport bus stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Small swimming pool on roof which helped cooling off after our levada walks. "
