Beautiful listed house, full of character, amazing stay from start to end, the owners couldn't do enough for you, and food was excellent, and I have to add never had such a warm comfortable bed ever, will definitely be going back, cannot praise it enough

From moment we stepped into this boutique we were made to feel very welcome and at home. Our room was lovely, I’ve never slept so well on first night at any hotel.bed so comfy. The little extra touches within the room really did make our stay so much nicer. As for breakfast…. Wow !! It was all set out beautifully, everything freshly made and good quality. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt spoilt.

What a stunning boutique B&B. Our room was beautiful, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in the whole place was just lovely. Quiet, relaxing and charming and finished with a breakfast fit for a king. We will certainly come back so thank you Elvira what a gem of a B&B you have and thank you for making our short stay so memorable.

I stayed for one night at Ty’n Rhyl Boutique Bed & Breakfast on 1st October 2025 and had a truly fabulous experience. From the warm welcome on arrival to the moment I left, everything was spot on. I stay in many hotels/b&b's and i must say that both Elvira & David were the best hosts bar none. The property is full of charm and character, with a lovely boutique feel. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, perfect for a relaxing night away. The bed was especially comfortable, and I had an excellent night’s sleep. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, freshly made, and presented with real care. The service throughout was friendly, attentive, and made me feel very well looked after. Even though it was just a short stay, it felt special from start to finish. I’d definitely return and highly recommend Ty’n Rhyl to anyone visiting Rhyl.

Amazing Experience from the US!

Beautiful stay passing through the my way to London as a pair of 24 year old year Americans. The experience is tailor for all ages, but especially retirees who are traveling in the area. The service was incredible, food was cooked by the husband and the wife was kind a kind and generous hostess (Apologies for not remembering their names was exhausted when I asked). The room was stunning, very well kept with all the amenities I needed. The highlight was waking up the the sounds of birds chirping and watching the bird feeder out the window & a 5 star breakfast to go alongside it. Truly a wonderful experience, thinking of excuses to come back already. If you’d made it this far, I highly suggest booking!

Stopped on the way to Holyhead. Would recommend it to anyone who is travelling long distance and needs to spend a stopover night heading to Ireland

Fantastic hotel

We had a wonderful two night stay,the hotel is stunning and the people running it are lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable and so high I had to climb up into it,bedding was very soft and warm. The breakfast is something else, it is really nice. There was Greek yogurt with nuts, fruit purée, watermelon balls,strawberries,blackberries,raspberries and blueberries after that a full cooked breakfast egg bacon tomato mushroom sausage, hash brown and it’s much toast you can eat with home-made jam and marmalade also tea and coffee absolutely the most brilliant breakfast I’ve ever eaten in fact I didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day. Are the best thing about it? It was all really clean healthy food you could see and taste the quality.

A beautiful, well-maintained old (17C) building, complemented by the warm welcome from co-owner Elvira. We didn't meet her husband, but he was clearly hard at work in the kitchen. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms comfortable. The rooms felt quite opulent, with large mirrors, stained glass, pretty décor, a well-stocked ensuite bathroom, and deep beds. We slept and ate well!

Amazing little find, lovey bed and breakfast in Rhyl. Had an evening meal which was out of this world. Then a breakfast to match. Definitely a place to stay. Service was top notch.

Very attentive hosts. Beautiful room, lovely bathroom and very comfortable night’s sleep. Extremely peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was fabulous with a great variety of fare, fresh fruit, croissants, yogurt, full cooked breakfast and toast…..delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Made to feel very unwelcome

We would not recommend staying at the Ty’n Rhyl. My partner and I attempted to check in at 9:30pm and were shocked to find the hotel in complete darkness. It was very unclear where we could park given the entire grounds was in pitch black. I knocked on the front door and the owner answered with a greeting of “I assumed you weren’t coming so I went to bed!”. We instantly felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. We then entered and had very awkward small talk with the owner before being shown our room. The restaurant and bar were not open at 9:30pm on a Saturday night, which we thought was strange. We then asked for local pub recommendations, which the host provided, followed with the remark “well I guess I’ll have to wait up for you then”. This added to the awkwardness. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that didn’t provide a key to the front door - had I known we’d have a curfew, we definitely wouldn’t have booked to stay. We decided to go to the local shop to bring some drinks back and sit in the downstairs foyer. The owner then said “oh well I’m going to have to charge you corkage for that”. We were gobsmacked, especially given the bar was closed in the B&B. We felt so uncomfortable that we grabbed our bags and left, deciding not to stay for the night. The service was terrible, would not recommend anyone booking this for a night in Rhyl.
