This property was wonderful! Great location, wonderful service and friendly staff. If you love the Beatles, you’ll love it here. There isn’t a gym, but I knew that when I booked. Easy to run/walk along the river.

Hard Days Nice is a wonderful hotel next to Matthew Street. If you’re a Beatles fan, this is the place for you.

Poor checkin and out. Not too accommodating or overly friendly No one answers the phone when you call. No vip access or upgrades etc No one assists with bags. Parking is a pain with little advice from staff

The room was not good due to a heating and electricity problem. We froze on the first night then it was not really fixed very well. They should have moved us to another room but did not. The electricity in the room was faulty as well. That is not a good look for such a nice hotel. The staff were nice but I wish the problems were handled better!!

Lovely decor. Room very good size and very clean. Not so keen on breakfast as not much choice and staff not very quick at clearing and re-laying tables or restocking.

I like the location and the Beatles theme in the whole property. I didn't like there were no usb ports in the room, 2nd night it was a licking on one of the lights inside room, which is super dangerous. So a woman came to the room and she took all my belongings and moved me to another room at 1am. She wasn't very polite, but that was the only solution. The hotel needs more maintenance. The room was very cold as the windows didn't close well. So they offered me an extra heater. The restaurant inside the hotel was closed, so the only option is a bar that doesn't prepare any elaborated food but you have restaurants just around the corner, including the Cavern club and the Cavern restaurant. There's no microwave or fridge in the rooms. I also tried the afternoon tea and it doesn't worth it at all. It cost £80 and the food included wasn't very good or neither abundant. Was disappointed to me. In spite all of this, i will come back because the the price/location ratio is unbeatable.

Excellent location, right next to Mathew Street. Amazing staff - particular mention for Eric the concierge who went above and beyond and was so kind to my son during our stay. Brilliant hotel for Beatles fans with lots of memorabilia around the property. Huge rooms, really well equipped and very clean. Our second stay and we will be back in the future. Thank you

Showing its age. Impressive facade not backed up by internal facilities. Clearly cost cutting for profit. Restaurant not open in the evening. Wifi laughable. Room fittings/furniture tired (at best). Don’t plan on sleeping before 2am because of clubs next door. Won’t be recommending. Unlikely to be back.

Only concern as when checked in and went to our room we noticed a portable heater. Questioned this at reception and they said air con was not working so inadequate heating. Would have been nice to have been given this explanation at check in. A second heater was provided which was adequate. Other than this very nice room, spacious, good amenities in room. Breakfast good. Good entertainment, not the best stocked bar and unable to give us 2 glasses of Prosecco as meant opening a bottle! Otherwise would recommend as accessible to shops and all amenities.

Says it’s 4 star rating… it’s never seen 4 stars…. Food shocking, smashed windows in Bar… oil filled radiators in rooms as cold…. Bathroom freezing…. Toilet roll holders off wall….. bed hard….
