A beautiful boutique hotel in old town and yet only minutes from all you need - transport to beaches, Rhodes town, restaurants, the harbour and of course all the major sites if the medieval city.
Staff catered to our every need, the suites are spacious with all modern amenities. The best part of stay besides the wonderful breakfast served each morning was the tranquility of sitting under trees at the end of exploring old town. Enjoying a drink, coffee or something to eat.
Highly recommended and hope to be back soon. Thank you Despina.
Oh and Despina's mothers home made meals!
Everything from check In to check out was first class. The staff was attentive, the food was good and the facility was attractive and well maintained. Close to Rhodes City and the old city. The guest relations person Popi was excellent. No request was too big or too small.

My sister and I holidayed at Mitsis Grand Hotel for a week and overall it was a really lovely stay. The hotel is located a couple of minutes walk from Bar Street (if you're feeling like straying from the luxury of all-inclusive food and drinks) and about 20 minutes from the ancient Rhodes town which is definitely worth exploring! The beach is directly opposite the hotel, and offers some gorgeous pink sunsets! The hotel and views are truly picturesque, especially if you opt for the ocean view room. We chose the garden view instead but it certainly wasn't worth a balcony photo shot due to the unattractive grey roof and noisy fans below us. The hotel has two pools; the first is located out in the garden but is so small with very few sun loungers that you're fighting all the other residents for a space in the sun. I even spotted one woman using her lilo as a sunbed! What was concerning was that many guests were 'reserving' their loungers as early as 7am by placing their towels on them! The second pool however is slightly more capacious and close to the bar (great for all those free cocktails by the pool!) We were sadly disappointed with the quality of the food in the buffet restaurant though. Definitely not 5 star standard! But the little resturants in the garden offer a delicious range of food from Mexican tortillas to Greek-style summer salads and mouth-watering burgers! If you stay at Mitsis, eat there instead! Overall though, really happy with the stay and would go back again
Proprietor Alex emailed prior to reassure the risk due to capital controls imposed ("the Greek Crisis") would not impact on our stay. A separate email provided options to ensured our smooth transfer on arrival to the hotel. Alex made us feel welcome: starting with a complimentary cocktail (of our choice) by the jacuzzi. The outdoor entertaining area is quiet and relaxing.
Duncan took over and encouraged we enjoy the Old Town, which we found captivating. The hotel location is slightly off the beaten track and highly recommended. After our night out we looked forward to a quality breakfast, which did not disappoint. The omelette is the best I've ever had (serious)!
As we had an evening departure flight, we requested a late checkout. We were delighted to have our room till 3:30pm, the time we needed to leave for the airport. Alex understood we were travelling to Kastellorizo for two nights and returning to Rhodes. Alex kindly offered to keep our check-in baggage securely. We were very relieved we could travel more lightly with day-packs to Kastellorizo. Nothing is too much to ask. The hospitality is truly memorable and appreciated. We recommended this hotel to anyone seeking to spend time in the Rhodes.

Hotel is fine, rooms are clean, staff is nice, but some things in hotel description are misleading. Like, it's said that there is access to the private beach. Wrong! The beach is public, they don't have their own umbrellas and sun beds, so you have to pay for it (it's 5 euros per sun bed). Second-airport transportation. You might think that they have a shuttle or something. Wrong! What that means is that they call you a cab. That's it. Another thing- iron/ironing board on request. Wrong! They won't let you use the iron in your room for "security reasons". They will offer you their service, that you will have to pay for, of course. I didn't want to pay for it, didn't bring my own iron (which I regret now), so all my clothes was wrinkled.

A perfect location, peaceful with an exceptional host, John. The breakfast was incredible and delicious, with local delicacies and a wide choice from cereals, greek youghurt, fresh fruit, choice of bread, croissants, too much to eat in one sitting so John encourages you to take it away for lunch! Only three rooms so very peaceful and intimate. Out of the door is the bustling world of history, cobbled streets, colourful shops and a plethora of tavernas and restaurants. A central location within walking distance of the harbour = boat trips and also a great choice of bus trips to island locations. Perfect courtyard garden to rest and read when exhausted with all Rhodes has to offer.

"Wonderful service in the heart of Old Town Rhodos"
Centrally located in the old town, this charming hotel offers great service from check in until you leave. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace in the morning is as spectacular as the view of the harbour as the sun comes out. The amenities in the apartment in which we stayed were comfortable and spacious. An added bonus were the garden and terrace areas where you can relax behind the walls and enjoy a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing and swimming. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We would definitely recommend this hotel based on service, comfort and location. You are minutes away from the museums, restaurants and bustling centre of the marvellous Old Town, and a short walk takes you through the gates to the ports and/or Eli Beach. Thank you St Nikolis.
The staff at this hotel is very friendly and its conveniently located within walking distance from the beach and old town. Buses to other parts of the island are about a 5-10 minute walk away as well! Couldn't have asked for a better stay, I will definitely stay here again!
Its skyline dotted with Turkish-era minarets, Rhodes’ magnificent old town lies within four-kilometre-long, 14th-century fortifications. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is Europe’s largest inhabited medieval town, its pedestrianised cobbled streets lined with small hotels, tavernas, cocktail bars and souvenir shops. Top sight is the monumental 14th-century Palace of the Grand Masters. Daily excursion boats run to Marmaris in Turkey.
