The hotel is in a quiet location with a nice beach within a few minutes walk. No All inclusive at beach but there are a few restaurants if you walk far enough and one steak restaurant was amazing. Good variety of Water sports available at beach and great snorkeling in clear blue sea. Hotel food was average - breakfast probably the best meal and dinner was ok but a little boring. The Al la Carte restaurants however were all really good - we booked these in advance of arrival. The restaurant has a beautiful sea view and the staff and food were all great. Entertainment at hotel was really weird as the Italians got a huge amphitheater but the English entertainment was just performed in a small corner of the pool area where you had been sitting all day and you often had to sit of the same sun lounger you had been sitting on all day so it seemed pointless getting dressed up for it. The entertainment itself was a mixed bag - some good bands/ music but also some poor nights but as I say, sitting around the corner of the pool area not seperating the day from the evening made this hard to get too excited about. Al Drinks finish at 11pm so not too many stay up after this so nice to stay out but equally nice to go to bed early as no one waking you up getting in late. Lindos by taxi is 13 euro each way but a must as lovely market and beach. Airport about 1hr 15m and private transfer was 200e return. Gym very small and limited. Overall it was ‘nice’

We had a lovely stay at the Royal Lindos Resort. The all-inclusive food was excellent, the rooms clean and adequate although the air-conditioning did not really function at all well. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was not clear and still isn’t that the three “Lindos” hotels, all adjacent to one another, actually share facilities - this would explain some of the features that were documented but not obvious. All in all a pleasant stay.

Average resort in need of TLC
Let’s start with the positives. Lindos is a fabulous place to visit, and this hotel is well situated in a quiet part of the town with beautiful views and beach access. The buffet restaurant is pleasant, if a little samey, with many decent food options and attentive staff. The three al-a-carte restaurants also provide good food to break up your stay with beautiful panoramic sea views (although drinks there fall outside of the all inclusive package). Unfortunately though, the aging rooms and average hospitality make it difficult to recommend this hotel. We needed to change rooms on arrival as our allocated Junior Suite was filthy and hazardous for a young child, with fixtures and fittings visibly falling apart. The makeshift cot we were also provided could have been dangerous for younger babies, made up of blankets with no solid mattress. Whilst managing a week in our second room, my wife was electrocuted using a broken plug socket, while we also suffered from a power cut and leaky A/C unit that required visits from maintenance. The swim-up suites appear to be more recently renovated and used for the brochure pics, so do look carefully at what you are booking. General cleanliness also needs improvement. A visible lack of staff sees tables go uncleared, with rubbish building up throughout the day. Public areas are in need of some TLC and a lick of paint. inclusive bar service is also limite to the two busy pool bars, with no high chairs provided for younger children.

The hotel was very nice, modern clean, excellent food choice and close to Lindos village . We really enjoyed staying in the hotel. The staff were fantastic, very nice and kind and they do everything they can to help specially Valasia and Antonia at the front desk, they were extremely nice and helpful therefore we will definitely be coming back to this hotel in the future.

Great hotel with very good food and drink pack. Good value for money. The stay was very pleasant and the surroundings beautiful and historic. Rooms could do with a water boiling facilities and may a bar but probably the lack is due to the pandemic. Very well organised for covid cleanliness and gp on site for tests. Food v good especially in evenings near the pool with lights (v cosy and quite elegant thus v pleasant evenings and food well prepared). There is also tennis court which is on site. The beach is great because simple but not crowded (end Oct)

Disappointing
The room was great except the bathroom flood everytime we used the shower and the view from the balcony was incredible but overall a little dissapointing! There was just one all inclusive bar open in the evening and the choice of drinks was poor! There was little or no entertainment which surprises me as it is a large all inclusive hotel, the staff in the restaurant were nice but everyone was pretty miserable! We left a night early as it was not what we were expecting so that was a waste of my free night which I collected from frequent use of hotels.com

Pleasant stay
Lovely room with shared private pool. Good variety of food that was well cooked. Hotel on the beach and just a short taxi ride (couple of minutes!) from the beautiful Lindos Town.

An all inclusive hotel where it’s not actually all inclusive! Arrived for a a weeks stay for a friend wedding at Ktima (well worth a visit if you actually want to experience 5* luxury) and myself, my husband and our friends were highly disappointed. The staff were friendly which didn’t go unnoticed but the reception was poorly manned at all times. That being said, when we could eventually speak to someone they dealt with our query very well and with a friendly attitude. The pool areas were ok, in my opinion could be a lot cleaner. The ash trays were never emptied and considering we were at the children’s pool (which was a lovely pool for the children to play safely in whilst being watched from the sunbeds) I thought this was disgusting. The “all inclusive” status of the hotel probably needs to be changed to “all inclusive except for a few things”...as a child I remember visiting all inclusive hotels and if I wanted an ice cream or an ice lolly I could go up to any bar and ask for one at any time of day. Our first day I had to pay for an ice cream and ice lolly as they were branded ones...this I can kind of understand but I don’t appreciate having to always walk into the restaurant far away from the pool area to get my son the ice cream on tap I had promised him. No ice lollies included in all inclusive also! I also remember food being available at any time of day, no breaks in between. Again, having to go from one place to another when certain areas offered different foods at

How long have we got ? Bad check in as rooms had 1 double despite requesting 2 beds in each room On checkout had the usual already locked out of rooms before 12pm checkout time which is infuriating when you’re trying to make the most of your time left and have to trek to reception to complain and get keys reset. Had requested late checkout, only informed on morning of departure if you have got one or not. Staff good when we were trapped in lift though and sorted it quickly. Busy hotel, bordering too busy as buffet food and if you stop walking someone literally walks into you as there are so many people trying to get food at the same time. Been before so can say this with some credibility, it’s gotten too big.

Perfect place
Perfect hotel, the team are amazing, food is so good we loved it! The bar near the pool is great, water slide are perfect my kids loved it a lot. Its 45 min driving from Rhodes and 5 min driving from lindos. It was amazing thank you very much.

Property was excellent with clean room great service especially at the buffet with our server Mario who was always pleasant, friendly and service was excellent. Room was overlooking a building site and not due to complete until next year. Manager did try to find us another room, but none were suitable. Many of hotel facilities in need of repair, broken pool showers, toilets out of order and loose paving near pool. On the plus there wasn’t the usual rush for sun beds each morning. Courtesy room on leaving was very poor and we weren’t even provided with fresh towels. Not a great way to end the holiday.

Horrible stay
Water out of the bathroom faucet was brown for 5-10 secs every morning. The beautiful cove near the hotel has a pipe with extremely foul smelling water dripping from it into the beautiful water. I can only imagine, given the other plumbing issues, what that was. I did let the front desk know about this and they told me they knew there was a hotel-wide issue. Thanks. Parking was abysmally limited, as the hotel is on a hillside so any kind of public parking required strenuous walks. The hotel door locks were disfunctional. Decoding if they were too close to "a smartphone". That required 3 walks back to the front desk. The pullout couch in the "family room" was embarrasingly battered.

Very good value for Lindos
A really nice hotel. Great value All Inc near Lindos. Clean, good food options, great buffet, issue with room sorted swiftly after raising with hotel. Recommend for families too, I will be going back next time with my kids!

Nice staff shame about the construction noise.
It would be nice if Hotels.com or the hotel told us about the building works going on in and around this hotel before we booked.. no let up even on Sunday! On the upside the works should be finished by 2019-2020. But I would like to say the staff there are great just don’t expect a sleep in because of the noise...and we were not the only ones as a number of other people staying had a winge to us about it.

Transferred to SENTIDO HOTEL
This is my second visit to RHODES , as my first visit was 14 years ago during Honey Moon , and this is my second trip is with my wife and 2 kids. When we reached the Hotel, we have been informed that there is a problem in the building where our room is supposed to be. They transferred us to SENTIDO HOTEL and they told us that they will give us All inclusive also in this Hotel, which was Half Board only , and not all inclusive as we have ben told by the reception of LINDOS BAY. every time we needed some thing to drink or some snacks for the kids we had to cross the street to go to LINDOS WHITE Hotel or walk for 7-10 min to LINDOS BAY HOTEL , or pay in Cash at SENTIDO. They offered me to Go back to them after 1 day , and I refused to go back to LINDOS BAY. SENTIDO was perfect Hotel , They gave us a Corner suite with Full sea view , Food was Super , very friendly staff. Back to LINDOS Bay you have to walk a considerable distance with a downslope ramp to reach the beach . the quality of food compared to SENTIDO hotel was poor, ( it will be OK if you do not see the Buffet of SENTIDO). I didn't see my room in LINDOS BAY , to rate it. Water slides are OK , Animation during the day was OK. Our Stay in SENTIDO HOTEL was perfect , and for sure if I am in RHODES again , SENTIDO is my HOTEL.

Great place to stay
Hotel was large super clean with great friendly staff. We had a sea view room the sunrise and view were amazing. There is a fridge, great honey shampoo and shower gel. Room was a bit sparse in decoration but view made up for it, on the picky side would have been nice to have tea making facilities in room and would have been good if toiletries and water were replenished, but bar was a three minute walk. We were all inclusive food was plentiful and varied and a help yourself affair, staff were great with kids. We missed dinner as late arrival some sandwiches were provided with water and an apple but it would have been nice to have had a bit of choice with sandwich, as other half could not eat due to mayonnaise and we were quite hungry . Would defintely go back, beautiful place, just a few tiny things would make it absolutely perfect.

Nice holiday but not peaceful
Holiday for a couple with our 2 year old. Very good food selection and quality. Lots of different pool options, balcony sea view nice, room is large but nothing special, beach OK but pebbly, additional lovely little cove. Resort is large and don't expect peace night or day but there's plenty of space and sunbeds. Car required as resort is isolated.

Hotel is much better then most people think. There is always enough food to choose from, fabolous a la carte greek meze restaurant on site with superb view to the sea. Only litlle disadvantage that hotel does not have it's own sandy/pebly beach at all. You need to public beach and pay for sunbeds if you want beach time. Also, pretty poor animation team for whose who care about it. Otherwise, superb hotel!!!

Great holiday place
lady on check in horrible (dark hair in mid 30s?) - did not explain anything, very blunt and not welcoming at all, this did not make our arrival pleasant at all and I would expect more from receptionist in such a nice hotel as I myself do the same job and I know how little thing can ruin someones start of the holiday.This was however fixed by another receptionist later on who did answer all of our questions and been super helpful. Maria in the morning also organised champange and sweets to be delivered to our room as we were on honeymoon. Hotel rooms great with amazing view over the beach. Very nice and clean and attended by housekeeping team everyday and amenities topped up. Would welcome some water or tea and coffees to be in the room as a standart so you dont have to go for everything to the bar or restaurant which can get quiet annoying if you want to stay in the room for the evening and have a bit of peace and quiet.restaurant for ,,all inclusive'' customers is nice and the food choices are many. Also the team serving there work very hard and all are very pleasant. Restaurant and reception staff amazing (except check in ,,no smile'' lady) - Anastasia, Maria, Ilias, Hristos, Yanna, Zoi are the names i can remember but they were many more team members at the hotel who were great and talked to us and recommended where to go, what to do etc.Overall i would recommend this hotel to everyone - but they should think about some little improvements - like extra pillow, water etc

A family friendly hotel with good facilities. Close to the beach and short taxi ride from Lindos. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel.

The Good, the bad and the ugly
11 night stay at the Lindos Royal with wife and 2 children. Arrived after midnight so was offered a sandwich and an apple BUT NO drink....all inclusive stops at 11pm we found out. Not offered even water. The main part of the hotel, restaurants and pool areas are very nice - possibly on par with 4 star facilities. Plenty of pool areas, enough sun beds to go round and nicely spread out. Have to question the little shallow pool near the Calypso bar. Nice and shallow for little ones however the only way to access the pool is to climb the flint/rock wall which is VERY VERY DANGEROUS. Surely some access steps needed to be added to make it safe for little ones. The water slides are good fun. Not to high but great for the kids. The pool area of the slides could do with updating or a bit of a refresh. The painted white steps/bridge have started to peel badly making it look untidy with bits of old white paint scattered about. My daughter cut her finger at the water slides, she was walking up the stairs holding the handrail when her hand slipped down onto one of the glass side panels which was cracked causing her thumb to get cut open. The lifeguard dealt with the injury very well administering first aid. Great for drinks and food all day long. Plenty of snacks available. The Buffett restaurant is very nice, great choice of meats, salads, chips, pasta, pizza and desserts. Some staff lack character & enthusiasm. Waitress Angela is a star, bright and bubbly.

Enjoyed a week stay in junior suite. Staff are very helpful. But would have been better if there is a kettle / tea - coffee making facilities and iron in room.And hotel needs to consider laundry facilities. Not much helpful on tours / site seeing information. Hotel is ok and at least near Lindos
The hotel is a 10 min taxi ride to Lindos which is lovely. The hotel has no character and is very bland. The food was good, the rooms cleaned, but the staff varied a lot in their attitudes: the receptionists were friendly, some of the main restaurant staff were also, but the pool bar staff were very stern in both pool bar areas. The kids club was really only fir Italians as they made no effort at all with non Italians. There is really only 1 restaurant as you have to book the others which seemed odd and all the restaurants seemed similar. The pools were ok but didn't meet each other and all were quite small compared to some hotels where they flow under bridges etc. Overall bit disappointing and would rather stay somewhere with more character and happier staff and in Lindos itself next time

Needs more reception staff, shuttle bus to lindos, signposts to services & nearest bus stop. Restaurant is wonderful and resort is great for kids as not full of rowdy drunks - very safe feel.

Lovely location and view but unfriendly.
The staff at arrival were cold and unhelpful. The staff in the restaurant worked very hard and tried their best. The food was excellent however facilities were terrible unless you were Italian and part of the group that arrived together. No extra facilities for children and no entertainment for adults/families in the evening. A disappointing stay other than the beautiful view and sea. The wine was terrible.

This hotel is mixed and it depends on the type of holiday you like as to whether I would say it's ok to stay at or not. The food was good (great choice of fresh salads, bread and fruit plus a selection of meat and fish). Our room was comfortable and everything worked ok (shower could have been more powerful and the aircon in the rooms was not powerful but that was ok for us as I don't like the room too cool). Cleaning was not up to my standard though e.g. I don't think the floors were washed all week. The staff were generally nice. The lower ground (by the Kalypso bar and pool) smelt like drains. There weren't enough sun beds etc for the number of people that the hotel catered for. The drinks were not good for all inclusive. If you're like us and just use your hotel as a place to sleep and get some food when you're there, then this was fine for the price. If you like to hang out by the pool, I would not recommend it.
