Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was a plus.. We did many excursions and kept our days filled. This was our second place we stayed at in the middle of our trip so to go to BSI to pick up the key was a bit of an inconvenience. It is their rule but be aware and plan accordingly. They communicated with us and answered questions very quickly. Iceland is a wonderful country. You will have so much fun there experiencing its beauty. ##### Maria V. Sep 12, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Check-in, communication The place is terrific- clean, spacious, very comfortable and in the center of town; however, the check in was unclear and very stressful. You have to drive to the bus station in town to pick up the key in a locker, which is a 20 min. walk. We had to drop our rental car before 4pm, and it would have been nice to know this beforehand. By the time we got the correct locker number and got to the apartment to drop our luggage, we nearly missed our rental drop off and almost had to keep and pay for the car an additional day.
