This property had the possibilty for a 5 star review. There were two major things that essentially ruined our stay here, and one that inconvenienced it. FIRST, the heater in the bathroom is turned on MAX HEAT and there is no knob to turn it down, or better yet OFF. Using the bathroom left you drenched in sweat and made the entire room so hot I was opening the outside door 6 or 7 times a night. SECONDLY, there is a construction site 30 feet from our window. Every morning at 7:45, they are out there working, and this construction crew doesn't use nail guns. They hammer in each individual nail by hand. It ruined our trip as we never got more than 5 or 6 hours of sleep each night, which is what I do when I work, and NOT what I intended to do on vacation. I will seek similar accommodations, but I honestly don't know if I'd ever stay here again. The minor inconvenience is how horrible the water REEKED of sulfur. I thought it was a Reykjavik thing but no where else did the water stink. Without those three things, this would have been an AMAZING stay.

Beds were squeaky and very uncomfortable. Shower area was so small you barely could wash yourself. Coffee machine was broken.The main radiator was broken.’

The apartments were easy to check in to, and had what you would need. Kettle, hob, fridge, but no toiletries. Laundry room and rubbish room were available for guests. Great location

No frills, but convenience apartment
Positives: Easy parking, easy check-in, spacious apartment, terrific water pressure, plenty of space/ storage for our things. The temperature in the apartment was good -- neither too not nor too cold. When we had a problem (it was a HUGE problem, too!), management was responsive. Negatives: Kitchen is sparsely appointed -- there were not enough utensils. There is no housekeeping -- you supposedly help yourself to towels and toilet paper, but we only saw 3 towels available on one single day that we were there, and two rolls of toilet paper. We just went and bought our own toilet paper. The pillows are not great. Here's the deal: If you want a do-it-yourself apartment experience, then this is the way to go. My three kids and I were so happy with a 2 bedroom apartment to stay in for the week, and the parking and location are good. It's very much a "no frills" experience. We had a massive problem at check-in, but it was handled and addressed appropriately by management and the rest of our stay was smooth, except we wish we had more utensils in the kitchen. There were like 3 knives and 3 spoons.
