Recently redecorated, it features modern interiors while preserving the building’s original charm. The apartment accommodates up to 8 guests. The Space: This central four-bedroom apartment is perfect for groups of up to 8 guests. The apartment includes four bedrooms, one bathroom and a separate shower room and a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table. The apartment is located on the first floor (accessed via a small flight of stairs), in a charming downtown Reykjavík house near the harbour. The bed types in this apartment are: Two double beds, one twin bed (can be separated), and two single beds (together in one room) The kitchen includes a fridge, oven, stove, toaster, kettle, and dishwasher. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available and a Smart TV in one of the bedrooms. Guest Access: Check in at your own convenience with our simple self-check-in process. Check-in details will be sent via email before arrival, and support is available 24/7 if needed. Guests have access to the whole apartment. Everything within the apartment is private and for you to use at your convenience. The Neighborhood: This apartment is located near the harbour in downtown Reykjavik. It is close to nice restaurants, such as the Seabaron, Slippbarinn and Tapas barinn and cultural attractions like Reykjavik Art Museum and Harpa Concert Hall. From the harbour you can jump on a whale watching boat or you can walk along the shore line and see the popular Sun Voyager sculpture, a 20 min walk from the apartment. In 5 min. walking distance you'll find the famous Bæjarins Beztu hot dogs and within 10 min. walking distance you'll find the Reykjavik Pond and the main shopping street downtown, Laugavegur, with endless variety of restaurants, bars and stores. Getting Around: Bus stop #4 - Miðbakki is in 7 min walking distance, a pick-up/drop-off location for airport transfer and tours. The street parking around the house is P2, which is free from 9 in the evening until 9 in the morning on working days and 10:00 on weekends. The apartment was very comfortable for our group of six adults and one toddler. We appreciated the thoughtful touches—ice and water in the fridge, plenty of towels, and a well-stocked kitchen that made it easy to prepare our own meals.
