Convenient location, particularly for excursion pickups. Staff was very nice and hotel was very clean. Room was very small (I'm used to American hotel rooms, haha) but was comfortable.

The room was bright and clean, the hotel situated at the Main Street, bus stop just a few minutes each way, very convenient to go in the town centre which take about 6-10 minutes. Alternatively about 20 minutes to walk into the centre which I did, just follow the Main Street and very safe too.

Lovely 3 nights spend relaxing in this lovely and friendly hotel.Enjoyed the gym facalities and the good vibes around the hotel.Breakfast was nice but a bit over priced in my opinion.wouldnt hesitate to return

Disappointing spa experience & very overpriced
In terms of the hotel, standard basic Hilton room. Clean and functional for stay, as we were out all day. 5-10 mins drive out from the city centre, but a great location for sightseeing, if self driving, as it's on the main route out of the city to the Golden Circle or travelling Northwest. Hotel reception staff seemed aloof, two staff members in particular. Hotel food and drink charges are very expensive. Services used - room service dinner (fish & chips and burger) £77, breakfast muffin at reception £6 each (poor quality) and miniature wine £12 each. Hotel spa has a charge per visit of £27. This is not advertised on the listing and it's extremely overpriced for the amenities available - sauna, steam, jacuzzi x 3. Furthermore, the jacuzzis didn't work, in essence a hot bath, the steam room needs a deep clean and smells stagnant, and the sauna hasn't been cleaned in a VERY long time - the floor is filthy and caked with dirt. I wouldn't recommend visiting the spa. Gym is functional with lots of equipment and it too could benefit from some attention ie replacing the frayed and cracked protectors on the workout benches.

Away from anything interesting, restaurant was nice but limited menu and poor service. Considering all the hotels in Reykjavik I regret staying here.
