Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Smart flat-screen TV and private entrance. Double bed in the bedroom, a sleeping sofa in the living room and a private bathroom with shower. Just around the corner you will find some of the cities best restaurants and shops as well as historical buildings. The apartment is in walking distance from everything you'll need. The Space: The apartment accommodates up to 4 guests, with a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. It features a fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, and coffee machine, a bathroom with shower, and a private laundry room with washer and dryer. Guests can enjoy a spacious living and dining area with a flat-screen TV and a private entrance. Guest Access: Check in at your own convenience with our simple self-check-in process. Check-in details will be sent via email before arrival, and support is available 24/7 if needed. Guests have access to the whole apartment. Everything within the apartment is private and for you to use at your convenience. The Neighborhood: This apartment is right in the city center and with free parking. It's in walking distance to supermarket, geothermal swimming pool, the harbour and right next to Laugavegur, which has a ton of restaurants, bars and stores. Hlemmur foodhall is only in 5 minutes walking distance, where you can experience a variety of foods and the popular Sun Voyager statue by the sea is in 15 min walking distance. Getting Around: You can walk to most service locations, such as the grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants and more. The apartment is close to bus stop 9, Snorrabraut, where you can ask for a drop-off on your way from the airport with bus. BSÍ bus terminal is in a15 min walking distance, which is the most common meeting point for tour operators. The apartment comes with free parking, so you can also use your rent-a-car to explore the area or jump on day trips. Other Things to Note: We recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip to Iceland, which covers issues as delayed baggage, travel accidents, weather trip cancellations and emergency overseas medical. The apartment is comfortable, well-equipped, with plenty of room for storing our gear. We did have a huge problem gaining access because although we were sent a key code, we were not familiar with the gadget and did not know how to activate the invisible touch pad. Seeing the nowthern light from the comfort of the living room with pjs and blankets was the way to go. Our 7 year old son was cozy and warm. We had been travelling for 2 1/2 weeks. I knew they had gotten the payment because I saw it when I made a payment to my visa. We did not have any information on entering the property, an email was sent the day before that went to my junk mail. This email was asking for a picture of my driver’s license and my credit card before they would give me the code to access what was already paid for. The location is perfect, and the home was clean, warm and comfortable. No issues with entry or finding the property. One of the biggest reasons we chose this particular property was because it was advertised with a washer and dryer. The washer worked fine. Unfortunately, the dryer did not. I contacted the host several times asking for a fix, and was told 3 separate times someone was coming to fix it - and I kept all email communication as proof. A repair person eventually came out, but was unable to fix the machine. The host never once contacted me after that to apologize or offer a solution. Because of that, I'd be hesitant to recommend this property, if having working appliances is important to you. ##### Amy L.
