The hotel is across the street from a major landmark, Harpa, and seashore, thus very easy to find. Since the tour buses etc. go to very few hotels directly, this hotel is conveniently located across the street from Bus Stop 5, and just down the street from Bus Stop 6. Also just a couple of blocks away from the main street. The breakfast room that also serves as skybar has amazing views. Staff are really friendly. The cheapest rooms are with the water view, though the room was quite basic, it was comfortable nonetheless. The only downside is that there is no place eat nearby...after a full day of touring in the cold, rain, and windy weather, even a 3 - 4 blocks can feel like a long way to get some dinner. I do plan to go back to Iceland at some point in the future, and definitely will stay at the same hotel.

The hotel was very convenient. Near bus stops and right by Rainbow Street. The staff was tremendously helpful with any questions you have. Great breakfast buffet in the morning. Would definately stay here again on my next trip

It was the perfect place to stay since it was in walking distance to the bus stops for excursion pick ups and nearby attractions. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Beautiful views!

We really enjoyed this hotel for a nice, clean, straightforward overnight in Reykjavik. It's not a high class luxury establishment but a very well executed 3-star hotel with a great cozy feel and excellent service. The staff were uniformly excellent, from check in to check out to restaurant/bar staff. We had a sea view room which was nice, but unfortunately the view is over a parking lot and a main road, and is therefore a little less exciting from lower floors (we were on 2). The rooftop bar has stunning views of the summer sunset and has a cozy, fun vibe. The breakfast buffet was served in the same sky lounge space and was small-ish but well done, with a variety of cold and hot options. The hotel has a cozy front lobby and well-thought-out storage lockers for those who need a space to store luggage before check-in or after check-out. We didn't try the spa. The rooms are perfectly clean but pretty spartan/efficient: small square footage, not much of a desk to work at. Our room had a single bed in place of a sofa, so there wasn't really even any seating. The bathroom is small and uses a wet-room shower approach. All perfectly workable, but just a little tight, even for two people. The location is very good, on the water, and a two-block walk to the main town road and just a few more blocks to the main church. It was a (cold)12-15 minute walk to the harbor for any whale cruises. Overall, we would definitely stay again as a value option with a great feel.

Friendly and helpful staff, hotel located close to a bus stop however, it was a walkable location to the city center. Room was very small, we booked a room with the sea view, but the windows were too dirty on the outside to see much. Definitely not soundproof, could hear the traffic and a guest in the next room snoring at night. The housekeeping did an excellent job.

Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is in a great location for excursions from the harbour and a short walk to the main shopping areas. The bathroom was a bit small but functional for what we needed. Hotel staff were helpful. Breakfast was a nice addition (especially the Nutella flapjacks). Although not warm or dry enough to sit outside the sky lounge has a great view! Would stay there again.

This hotel was really good! It is located in one of the best spots in the city and has an amazing rooftop bar/breakfast restaurant with beautiful ocean views (on the left, you have a view of the Harpa, and on the right, you see the Sun Voyager). Imagine having breakfast in front of the iconic view of Mount Esja and the Harpa everyday? It was a dream! The staff was fantastic, too! Everybody was kind and helpful! They also have a cute and relaxing spa we reserved after an adventurous day in the south of Iceland.

I liked how good the breakfast was and the room itself. Upset the reason we booked the hotel was due to the hot tub that was down at the time. Upset room service threw away some of our gifts and the staff didn't do anything when we told them.

The spa was fantastic!! Sauna and hot tub, the best $20 you’ll spend! The staff were extremely helpful and very nice! Would definitely recommend this hotel! Can’t forget Skybar- what a view!

Great location to base yourself from, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The view from the bar/restaurant is amazing and makes breakfast each morning a pleasure, as well as the food of course. There’s a good selection of different foods at breakfast which should keep anyone happy. We’ll certainly use this hotel again.

Great hotel! Good location with the perfect view. I felt safe here. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. When I asked about recommendations/information about my upcoming trip, they gave a lot of tips and suggested some great tours. Would highly recommend this hotel!
