The hotel was super clean, and the staff was great. Convenient hotel restaurant had great food as well. The parking garage was directly across the street for easy access to the vehicle.

Great location and wonderful rooms. This was very walkable to everything we wanted to see. There is municipal parking (in a large across the street) that is so convenient. The hotel has many places to lounge as well.

Your software team did a great disservice to your staff by allowing their system to not function for several hours at a time. This made it very difficult for them to do the great job they had done at every other instance.

My whole family enjoyed our stay at Canopy. It’s a beautifully designed facility with a calm and intimate atmosphere. The rooms are very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous! We are impressed with their attention to details and every corner we turned there was a cozy couch and some books to hang and chill with. The location also cannot be beat as it’s 5 minutes walk from bus stop #6 and walking distant to the church and shopping area. The whole town is walking distance really. Overall we really loved the hotel and will definitely go back if we visit Reykjavik again!

The hotel’s location was perfect. The room (331) however was disappointing due to the loud noises from both upstairs and downstairs.

We have visited this hotel on a number of occasions but each time our visits gets worse. This time we were not greeted in a friendly manner and were told that we would not get any upgrades, options or any member benefits as we booked with Expedia. The staff were not interested or concerned. The so called bar is hardly open and the Hotel started renovating the floors part way through our stay. Expedia should have notified its customers that there was some refurbishment going on. We found the our room near, one of the bars which was noisy throughout our stay during the weekend. It is a real shame that the Hotel Management & Staff have let this place go down hill as its a ideal location and a really nice hotel. Really disappointed with Hilton Hotel Canopy & Expedia especially when the hotels are not offering or passing on any rewards or points to its customers.

In general excellent from location and service point of view. We stayed in a junior suite - generally on the small side and first time I see no toiletries in a good hotel.

Canopy by Hilton has the best location in Reykjavik. You are walking distance to everything. Great rooms, staff, and service. They have a great breakfast buffet and they granted us a late checkout at no extra charge. Superb hotel. We highly recommend and will definitely return on our next trip.

Great location in middle of town and convenient for bus stop. We had a room on the main street side (Hverfisgata) and it was a little loud at night. Our room was small but very nice and the lobby areas are great. If you want to spend a lot of time in your room maybe not the best choice.

This property is clean and the staff is helpful. The breakfast is good. It is conveniently located, just feet from the High street. It is also just a 3 minute walk from Bus Stop #6 where most tour companies and the shuttle to the main bus terminal pick up passengers. There are lots of restaurants and shops near by. The museums and the harbor also are within a short walk away. One thing the hotel should change is the signage to the rooms. When you get off the elevator, the sign only lists some of the room numbers. If your room number is not in that range, you are left wondering where to go. It took me a few minutes to find my way and while I was there, I encountered two sets of guests standing at the elevator, with their luggage, looking very lost. In both cases, they were thankful for my directions.

Absolutely outstanding location for touring Reykjavik. Rooms were well appointed, conveniently located to the Bus Stop (#6) for all your travel needs - and great location to walk the city. I would highly recommend this location for your first time to Iceland.

Adequate but disappointing
The hotel was adequate however for the price of the room, I expected more amenities for example there was no water provided in the fridge / no toothpaste or toothbrush and no other toiletries. Breakfast did not come as part of the stay and one had to pay extra for this which again was disappointing given the price one paid for the room. Having stayed at other hotels at this price where these things are provided, I was rather disappointed ointed with my stay and will not be back.

This was a very unique property. It had an interesting layout and some lovely places to sit and gather. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. Very walkable, lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.
