"What a pleasant surprise! We had no idea what to expect. We chose a place outside the city for a quieter - and more reasonably priced - location. Perfect! We look out on the water and we have a bunch of beautiful horses wandering around outside the door! Room is perfect. Hot tub is great. We are staying here for 3 nights - leapfrogging 1,3 &5 as we tour around. Would love to come back to Northern Lights. If you're looking for peace, quiet and beauty, this is the place."

"Fun themed hotel. Note: the room had 5 twin beds, no full. May have been a misread on my part but thought there were 3 twins and a full. No biggie, me and my husband stayed in the bunkbeds for fun :) Also a nice breakfast in the morning was included. "

"10 min drive to Blue Lagoon. Easy to find; convenient parking in front of your door. It was my first stay in a guesthouse with a shared bathroom, but there was no need to worry - there were there spotless units complete with showers for two rooms, so there was no issue. The kitchen was excellent, with the full-size fridge and all the amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the room well-ventilated and quiet. I would definitely stay there again!"
