It was fine and clean, but stained carpets, patched walls, chipped counters, etc. Its hard to pay more than a hotel and have that experience. Very basic. I also know that it was a basement apartment and expected to hear some noise, but it was incredibly loud. You can hear every step, doors closing, cabinets closing and running water of the owners. The apartment is on a quiet street a few blocks from the BYU-I campus and close to a grocery store and several places to eat. There is a park across the street. The apartment was clean and the kitchen is stocked with the essentials and most importantly, there was plenty of room for everyone when my kids came over to visit.
