Belle chambre, un peu petite. Bonne literie et etat neuf. Par contre très déçu de ne pas avoir eu de restauration le soir. Et que l’on ai pas voulu mettre en route le spa sauna. C’etait des points essentiel de mon choix d’hebergement.

Enchantés!

Très belle demeure restaurée avec goût. Les propriétaires sont très attentifs aux petits détails pour rendre ce séjour très agréable. La chambre Chardon que nous avions est d'un décor raffiné et très confortable. Nous avons été très bien conseillé pour notre séjour sur les possibilités offertes dans la région pour les restaurants et les sites à visiter. Petit déjeuner avec des produits maison ou locaux. Je recommande cette maison forte. Merci à Céline et Pierre pour leur accueil chaleureux. Bravo à eux de reprendre et de conserver cette maison forte, témoin de l'architecture régionale.

What a gem

A very pleasant stay in every sense. Great hospitality by the hosts (delicious dinner and breakfast) and an incredibly beautiful environment. In fact the photos undersell the property not least the comfort of the rooms, which was exceptional.

Een historische beleving

We bleven 1 nacht in het historische maison forte. Het is inderdaad een kleine vesting met een eigen poort, oude torens en prachtige aangelegde tuinen. De kamers in de uitgebouwde oude torens die aan een binnenplaats liggen hebben de originele stenen vestingmuren en matchen mooi met de moderne comfortabele inrichting. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte of buiten op de zitjes en ligstoelen kun je een heerlijk wijntje bestellen en het ontbijt bestaat uit verse huisgemaakte producten.

Really neat find

This was an amazing find. Can't really put into words... The place was originally built like 1000 years ago; it has a really neat history. The gardens were amazing. No A/C, but luckily we just missed the hottest week of the year. Very good wifi. Very nice bathroom & shower. Breakfast was 15 euros each (just a tad pricey) and my wife doesn't eat breakfast, so we passed on that, but I'm sure it would have been fine. The hosts are the friendliest folks you could want to meet. If i drive across France again I will try to stay here again.
