It’s OK to crush for a night on the road without breaking the budget.

Elevators were being upgraded so little inconsistent. My room was next to an elevator shaft so I could hear the elevators going up and down. The WiFi was visible but couldn’t log into it after trying with four different devices. I had to tether out of my cell phone.

Good location for our event, but the property needs cleaning. Inside the room, I did see a cockroach, a lot of dust, spotty walls, and room lighting was dark so you couldn't tell if the rug was clean. Aircon, TV worked well.

Cons: You get what you pay for! The place is a second story building in a very busy part of Thayer street. It's very noisy at night, esp on the weekend, with lots of motorcycles and cars revving their engines. Goes on past midnight. You will have trouble sleeping if you're light sleeper or don't fall asleep easily. The bathrooms don't have toilet paper in each stall! It's a giant roll on outside of the stall. Our roll was completely depleted. So you're on your own! The walls are paper thin; you will hear your neighbor very easily if he turns TV on loud, which ours did. The Pros: The location is very central to Brown. You won't find anything cheaper in the area. Lots of eateries and businesses within a block. The managers are nice enough on the phone and via email.

Ok, so we needed to find a good spot between cities we wanted to visit. Only a few minutes away from the airport, plus the price, it was an easy winner. We got there, it was a quaint little motel, nice desk clerk, smelled of the pool. Got the room, basic needs, but the lights took effort to work out and the door required very forced closing in order to lock properly. The nice clerk was kind enough to show us we basically have to slam. The bathroom had no lock mechanism so it didnt close all the way. The towels and sheets were clean. The carpet felt quite sticky and unclean, so i wore my shoes inside much of the time. The window sills are absolutely filthy. They are openable, but i wouldnt lol. If you dont touch the windows, im sure it will be better overall. Open the curtains, youll get a nice view of trees and vine bushes. It was quite tranquil, having light but also privacy. It was a conclusively cute, cheap, and a cleaner than expected experience! They didnt clean during the stay, which was nice, considering privacy as a priority. It was very reasonably priced, which made the tiny quirks easy to overlook. If we consider a similar arrangement of between city access, i will absolutely consider this motel again!!
