We reserved a king room only to get 2 doubles, and were told that even though I thought I reserved it through Expedia, it is actually only a preference. Even smoking or non smoking is a "preference." Ugh! We stayed here for the pool. It was tiny and only 3 ft deep throughout. Even the TV didn't work, it had some special programming on it that was jammed up and needed a "work order" and 20 min to fix it. It was in a good location to the other casinos, and the casino was nice. Downtown Reno is dirty and shabby, this hotel is probably the nicest of the bunch, but keep that in mind.

Overall really nice hotel, just encounter a problem with no hot water one morning while trying to shower but front desk inform us they were aware and working on the problem.

We had FANTASTIC time. We were very happy which everything about out room and the restaurants in the casino. It would have been nice to have won some money but we can't have everything.. Thank you

I liked the hotel. Room not good. Air was horrible. They tried to fix it but minimal change. Should have demanded a different room Did not sleep as a result. I would cautiously recommend room.

Are check in experience was not pleasing at all.After driving a couple of hours I did not in joy having to wait in my car creeping forward at valet parking. Not enough attendant's on to handle the crowd on Friday afternoon. The front desk was no better checking in. Very long line and not enough help on. The only bright spot to checking in was a clerk named Daniel who was very pleasant and accommodating. The rest of are stay was very enjoyable.

Pros: It was very easy and comfortable hotel.
Cons: I think the bed sheet was very old,they need to change that.
Location: It was good.
I like that hotel but the bed Sheet was very old but it was clean,I think they need to change that. Everything was good .There are different restaurants and coffee shops and shopping store . I'll recommend that hotel to my friends and family.

Quick visit to Downtown Reno

Pros: The price.
Cons: Ventilation. We had a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke!
Location: Location is great. You are downtown, within walking distance of UNR and there are a lot of Casinos connected. Plus a lot of dining options nearby.
We have stayed at the Silver Legacy many times, but this trip was disappointing. First we had issues checking in. They wouldn't let my husband check in as I had booked on Expedia. He had to wait for a manager (who was at lunch) and no one else would help him. This after standing in line for 30 minutes!! Our room smelled of smoke thought it was a non-smoking room and the ice machine on our floor wasn't working. To top it all off, the cable when out for the entire hotel! Thankfully we had Netflix on a computer. I'd think twice about booking there again and will look for other options downtown.
