Mid week vacation to Reno.

Posted 25-May-2016
We've stayed at the Silver Legacy before and it just keeps getting better. From the parking to the room it was outstanding. Not one complaint, honest! 24 hour security at the elevators and in the casino area. Great variety of restaurants. This is our place of choice to stay in the Reno area.

Close to National Bowling Stadium/ USBC Tournament

Posted 23-May-2016
Pros: I had a medical emergency that required a visit to the hospital ER. The valet staff was great and drove me to the ER themselves.
Cons: Disappointed to find that the bowlers courtesy bus to/from the stadium was discontinued this year.
Although the streets of Reno are rather"seedy", the Eldorado/Legacy/Circus security staff does a great job inside the hotel/casinos. This year, the antique car show and band (May 20 and 21) just outside the hotel main entrances brought about additional outdoor security which was very welcomed because it included most of the bowlers walk to and from the National Bowling Stadium. I didn't have to worry about my wife making the walk alone to/from hotel/stadium. We enjoyed the attraction of the classic/antique cars, too! My wife and I appreciated the lack of cigarette smoke in the hotel casinos. The air was clean and breathable compared to some others. Good work!

The TV box was not working. They did fix it right away. It is annoying to have your TV turn off after a while.

Pleasant stay

Posted 21-May-2016
Staff was very helpful and attentive. Ate at the buffet for breakfast and the selection of food was plenty, loved the biscuits n gravy but some of the food was a little too salty for my taste. The rooms were very clean. A fan in the bathroom would be nice and a suggestion for the coffee maker would be to have a small coffee pot that would serve at least 4 cups of coffee instead of the individual cup. I most definitely would recommend this hotel. Overall my niece and I had a very pleasant stay

Great hotel! Great food!

The hotel was great! The elevators were divided up so not everyone was using them at the same time. Food was delicious in the grill and staff was delightful!

Beautiful view, Nice rooms

Posted 17-May-2016
Pros: Clean, classy, and the security measures (e.g.; asking guests to show room keys prior to using elevators), made my wife and I feel really safe.
Cons: Consider adding a safe in the room.
Location: Location okay, there was so much to do in the hotels and casinos that we didn't feel the need to go outside as we were in Reno for only one night.
Beautiful view of mountains, really nice spacious rooms, great service. Having access to three casinos was a plus!
