Great location, restaurants, nightlife

Posted 26-Jul-2016
Pros: The employees were very nice and helpful. Location, entertainment. Lobby.
Cons: Update the toilets and rooms. Feel old.
Location: Central to downtown.
Location was awesome. The hotel feels much larger as it is connected to the two hotels adjacent to it. Restaurants were good. The lounges were fun, lively, exciting on Saturday night.

Boring food choices.

Posted 26-Jul-2016
Pros: Pleasant staff, very helpful.
Cons: Restaurant hours were limited. Restaurant cleanliness. Food safety.
We would stay there again. Air conditioners are quite and cool enough for the room. Clean room. There is access to the 2 other casinos. We walked through them looking for a good place to eat. We ordered breakfast at one of the circus circus cafes and the food wasn't even warm. The waitress was prompt with the food orders, its my opinion that the kitchen staff didn't make food safety a priority. So we left without eating. There is a Mexican style place that prepares food by order so its freshly cooked, hot and really good.

Comfortable stop in Reno.

Posted 26-Jul-2016
Pros: Nice that they grouped floors that elevators went to so the wait for your floor was not so much. Also nice quiet room.
Cons: Parking was painful in garage. Had to go up 10 levels to find a spot. Maybe reserve a couple lower levels for hotel guests.
Location: Central to Reno and lots of places in town.
Parking was a pain, as it took a lot of time getting up and down the ramps in the garage. Hotel was well organized and staff were great. Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet.

A Bit disappointed.

Posted 25-Jul-2016
Pros: The Room and the Staff was friendly. Nice place
Cons: Put Refrigerators in rooms
Very friendly welcome, fast check in, but disappointed to have to pay $20. @ day for Parking and use of Spa etc. Well Pool close at 8 pm which is early especially being summer month. Parking spots where small. Also NO Refrigerator in the Rooms, it would have been another $10. @day extra. Lesson learned, check on EVERYTHING before you make Reservations...

Hotel OK, watch out if you have oversize vehicle

Posted 21-Jul-2016
Pros: I liked that it had oversize parking, which turned out not to be true.
Cons: Make sure your staff understands the parking options for oversize vehicles, IF YOU EVEN HAVE ANY.
The stay overall was fine, I wasn't there long but the front desk agent was very helpful. My issue was with the FAQ on their website stating that "Limited oversize and RV parking is available off property; please contact Valet upon arrival." Well with a truck that needs an 11' clearance, you can't get into the valet area since the clearance there is only around 8 feet. I pulled to a side street and called the hotel. Operator transferred me to valet, who didn't answer, so then she transferred me to security. The first officer said they have no oversize parking. I mentioned the website stated that they do, so he asked someone else in his office. I was told to park at the Circus Circus garage and given directions. Sure enough, there at the Circus Circus was a big sign at one of the garage entrances saying "Oversize Parking Only". The only problem was that there was no clearance information posted at that entrance and the roof of my truck scraped (luckily just barely) the ceiling of the garage. I backed out and found parking on a side street. I picked this hotel specifically because they mentioned oversize parking, and nobody there seemed to know what the hell I was talking about, then I was given incorrect information.

Silver Legacy Hotel

Posted 20-Jul-2016
Pros: It was easy to get around the hotel and casino, directional signs were easy to follow
Cons: Improve their cleanliness and keep the linen off the floor
Location: The location was good and I enjoyed the 3 casinos linked together, El Dorodo, Silver Legacy, & Circus Circus. Easy to get to other entertainment.
The hotel room is older could use some update. We had 2 adjoining rooms and one room had air condition issues, it was fixed by the the next day. Cleanliness could have been better. The fact that they put the clean linen and towels on the floor out side the room for the maids to use later is not a good policy.

Nice hotel, great views, had a great time. Unfortunately, it had only one sad, tiny, cold-hot tub. Otherwise the price was great as was my customer service experience.
