When I checked in, I was informed of the water main break which I understand happens, and was told water would be off until it could be restored and no deposit this time. No prob and thank for not taking $40 only to return it in the morning. I get to my room and could tell things were not good when I opened the door and a wave of nausea overwhelmed me. The room smelled of…something idk, and was filthy. I didn’t want to say anything at first because this family has taken this property over and have done an excellent job of making it nice for travelers and a water main break is a massive problem that can be overwhelming and I’m sure they had problems. I stayed in the for several hours, hoping that the water would come back on so that I could clean up a little bit I was sweaty it smelled in there and I wanted to clean up the unit itself just a little bit. It never came back on and I got increasingly frustrated because of the fact that I was tired and stinky sweaty and it just wasn’t going so well so I called Expedia and trying to get my money back so I can go to another property and that didn’t work. They offered me 2500 points but the guy said he didn’t know if that was enough for a room. The property said that they would get out in the morning to clean. It did absolutely no since I had to check out. I have to say Expedia really dropped the ball here not the property. They did the best they could. They could’ve offered me my money back, but Expedia could’ve made that happen .

One of the cleanest rooms I’ve be ever stayed in!! Pet friendly!! That being said this motel is really run down and extremely noisy. It’s definitely in a sketchier neighbourhood.

We booked a non smoking room. It smelled of cigarette smoke, desk clerk came to spray the room because he said that it was from people smoking outside of the room. We know the difference between smoking in the room and smoke coming from outside. It was definitely in the room pulled back the covers and it was stuck in the bedding curtains everywhere.

I liked this property for the location close to the highway and easy to continue on to my next destination. Things I didn't like : The door to the room did not seal in which i used a towel to make a seal. The room was supposed to be Non-smoking but was heavily smoked in, evident from the smell and burns on the furniture. There were no toiletries provided either. I was not in the mood to bring this to the staff's attention as they should already be aware of the problems with the rooms and the issues should have been resolved long before my visit. In hind sight I will spend a few dollars more and stay in a better place.

My family and I had to get another hotel because the rooms were absolutely disgusting!! Hair EVERYWHERE, dirt in the shelves where the towels go, and there was even a dirty towel under one of the beds. One of us came out with bug bites, not sure if it’s bed bugs quite yet but that’s absolutely disgusting!! This hotel ruined the first half of our trip dealing with all this. 0 STARS ‼️ DONT STAY!!

Pleasant stay.
We had low expectations due to some of the comments online. We were glad to learn the negative ones were wrong, at least in our experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The room didn't have the standards the others do, blowdryer, coffee pot, clock, refrigerator or microwave but it served its purpose. We used earplugs as the I-80 is right behind the motel. We slept good, showered and continued our trip. We didn't travel with a pet so we can't comment on the pet area.

All in all, the area was decently clean. The gravel areas in the pit areas lacked pet maintenance. There were no bags to pick up after your pets all the boxes were empty.

So sad to see that Expedia has places like this in their list for places they recommend. I trusted expedia's recommendation of this place and it's very obvious that Expedia has no idea that they are putting their customers in danger. Expedia only cares about getting their handful of dollars and nothing else. I have put my self and my wife's life in danger. Checked in in this rats hole trusting on a corporation like Expedia to recommend somewhere safe. I know they could care less about my experience at motel 6 and will not reach out to make things right. I got another night to spend here and hope we are alive tomorrow when the sun rises. Expedia if you really care you would remove this motel 6 out of your list. I know you will not care about and be surprised if you inquire more.

I book a non-smoking room. But the room I got still has strong smoke smell. Also they only provide soap, no shampoo. The front desk told me that this is Motel 6 ‘s policy.
