As a light sleeper I should have stayed further away from the bridge as the trucks going over it all night kept me awake. Our cabin was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, spacious and comfortable for a family of five. We could have easily fit grandma and grandad too! The staff were so friendly and accommodating when we had a late check in. Renmark is a beautiful place for families to relax and enjoy the River Murray. We could swim right out the front of our cabin! Highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely be back to stay again. It was lovely to wake up and see the river and birdlife while having ours meals outside. The cabin was exceptional. It had everything you would want. It was brand new with all the things you would need it want. All linen was provided, shampoo and conditioner, everything you would need to cook including your own BBQ on the deck area facing the river.. Everything was comfortable from the bed to the lounge. It is a quieter, smaller caravan park than the one a few hundred metres up the road and has less interesting things for children to do but that's why we chose it. If you have younger children than this may not be the park for you unless you are wanting to go fishing, canoeing or boating. It was nice to be able to walk around the park and talk to others. It was right on the river so it was lovely. The Kangaroos came out in the evening. We were told by other park users that they raise the bridge at 9.30 am for houseboats to get passed. So we made sure we waited around to see that in the morning. The only problem was finding the place as the entrance was hard to find. Enjoyed sitting on the riverbank when we arrived after 5pm and had easy access to our key via an sms sent to us. Next morning made breakfast then on our way. Spotlessly clean and nice park. Down side : trucks thundering over the bridge but to be expected when so close to it. Would be too crowded for 4 in the cabin we had. breakfast and be on our way.
