Privilege room (103) was clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed and lovely modern bathroom but it was let down by poor maintenance and service. I specifically booked a Privilege room because it had air conditioning and a fridge but neither worked (I had to have the windows open as the room was very warm despite the air conditioning supposedly being on and the fridge was essentially just a cupboard with a light in it).
The soap dispenser and shower gel dispensers in the bathroom were both empty (the dispensers were also set up very strangely with the shower gel dispenser attached to the wall by the sink rather than in the shower).
On the morning of check out, I requested to check out 1 hour later at midday but was told there would be a flat fee of £10, so I didn’t bother. When I checked out, the Receptionist did not look up from his computer when he spoke to me, and he did not respond when I said goodbye as I was leaving. The blonde lady on Reception when I checked in late on 7 July was, however, lovely and very helpful/apologetic.
This hotel does not represent good value for money in its current condition.
